    Batanes. Batanes is the northernmost province of the Philippines. It is a group of islands a little less than 200 kms from the Luzon mainland. It is separated from Taiwan by the Bashi Channel. Some say you can hear a cock crow in Batanes from the southernmost point of Taiwan.

    Guimaras. Guimaras produces some of the freshest vegetable crops in the country but it is most known for producing some of the world's sweetest mangoes. It is also home to the Trappist Monastery, the only monastery in the Philippines run by a very strict order of monks.

What island province is home to more than a thousand limestone hill formations collectively known as the Chocolate Hills?
    Bohol. Bohol is located east of Cebu and west of Leyte. It is rich in natural resources and is home to the Philippine Tarsier, said to the the world's smallest primate. It was also the site of the first international peace treaty in the Philippines, the "Blood Compact" by the native Datu Sikatuna and Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legaspi.

This island is also known as "The Rock" or "Island Fortress" and it is strategically located at the mouth of Manila Bay.
    Corregidor. Corregidor was once witness to the ferocity of the Japanese in World War II. Due to its strategic location, it became the headquarters of the Allied forces and the seat of the Philippine Commonwealth government at the time. A visit to the island will give you a peak into rich war history.

What island province is known for its production of quality marble?
    Romblon. Romblon, an island province that lies south of Manila and north of Panay is rich in both lush vegetation and mineral resources. Besides marble, you can also find granite, nickel, silica, mercury, zinc, copper, silver, limestone, sulfide, ores, kaolin, clay, magnesium and quartz.

    Luzon. Luzon is home to the seat of government of the Philippines, and its capital which is Manila.
