    Valenciennes. Saint-Germaine-des-Pres was a small colony of Flemish artists in Paris, wgere many starving artists tried to make a living. Watteau was born in Valenciennes, which was actually Flemish, but which was annexed by the French shortly before Watteau was born.

    Berthe Morisot. Boucher, like Watteau, painted in the rococo style, Pater was Watteau's student, and Delacroix was influenced by Watteau's color and style, although he painted in the Romantic style he cited Watteau as an influence. Morisot was an Impressionist, and although she may have been influenced by Watteau, I have not seen any record of that. Her main influences were her Impressionist contemporaries and, to a lesser extent, Veronese, Rubens, and Titian.
