    Meals Ready to Eat. Although it is a good description of many of the choices for MREs, Meals Rarely Eaten is not the correct choice.

What does SOP stand for?
    Standard Operating Procedure. Actually, there are some official sources that cite "Standing" as well as "Standard". Both versions are correct... as long as it is a Procedure, and not a Plan.

Which does not belong in SPORTS?
    Touch. This is immediate action for a weapon jam.

What does AAR stand for?
    After Action Review. AARs are the most painful part of the military experience. You cannot just say what the problem is. You have to come up with a solution as well.

What does H-HMMWV stand for?
    Heavy High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. The military issue Hummer.

What does LAPES stand for?
    Low Altitude Parachute Extraction System. A heavily used cargo drop system, a military aircraft would fly in low, barely above the runway, lower the cargo ramp, and release a parachute that pulls the cargo out. This allows the aircraft to maintain sufficient speed to pull out immediately. An example of this can be seen in the movie "XXX" with Vin Diesel when he gets dropped off in Columbia.

HAZMAT stands for Hazardous Materials.
    True. Wonderful class. Full of thick books and boring lectures.

Which word does not belong in the military abbreviation NBC?
    Clinical. The training for the NBC portion of Basic Training involves the wonderful NBC Chamber, also lovingly called the Gas Chamber.

AACFT stands for Army Aircraft.
    True.

What does USMC stand for?
    United States Marine Corps.
