Martha Graham. Jimmy/Snowman attended Martha Graham, which was named after the dancer. It was a run down arts college.

animals. The Children of Oryx are animals, and the "humans" or humanoids are the Children of Crake. That is how Snowman explained it to the Crakepeople.
|When Jimmy goes to visit Crake at college, what does Crake tell Jimmy that HelthWyzer is working on creating?|
diseases. HelthWyzer has been so effective at curing diseases that they have to create new diseases to stay in business. Crake believes his father was killed because he knew about this.

gatehouse. Snowman hides in the gatehouse from the twister, and later from the pigoons.

AnooYou. Jimmy got a job writing copy for a company called AnooYou. Later he went to work with Crake at RejoovenEsense.

a skating rink. Jimmy thought the dome was a skating rink.
|What did Crake say was the secret side effect of BlyssPluss?|
sterilization. He told Jimmy that you could have all of the sex you wanted, and would never continue to overpopulate. HelthWyzer had developed a drug to reverse the sterilization if an area got too underpopulated. He did not tell Jimmy about the JUVE.
|What does JUVE stand for?|
Jetspeed Ultra Virus Extraordinary. JUVE is the virus that wiped out most of the population. Oryx had spread it around in her trips out to the Pleeblands.
|Who gave Jimmy the nickname "Snowman"?|
Jimmy. Jimmy decided to call himself Snowman when he introduced himself to the Crakers. He did not want to be Jimmy or Jim anymore.
