    A Dream. "A Dream", "Dreams", and "Dream Within A Dream" were all written in 1827. "Dreamland" was written in 1844.

"This ghoul-haunted woodland of Weir."
    Ulalume. These poems all have water in them. "Ulalume" - a lake; "For Annie" - a spring; "Annabel Lee" and "The City In The Sea" - the sea.

"A mystery of mysteries!"
    Spirit Of The Dead. Stars shine in each of these poems.

"It was the dead who groaned within."
    The Sleeper. Moonlit poems abound in Poe's collection.

"The summer dream beneath the tamarind tree"?
    Sonnet - To Science. Read these poems and you will fly.

"His spirit is communing with an angel's."
    To M. L. S.. "Seraphs" or a form of this word can be found in all of these poems.

"Venuses, unextinguished by the sun!"
    To Helen (1848). "The Sleeper" is set in June. "To Helen (1848)" is set in July. "Ulalume" is set in October. "The Raven" is set in December.

"Who hear not for the beating of their hearts."
    AL AARAAF. These poems are "pearls" of literature.

"With sweet hopes of thee and thine!"
    The Hymn. Clouds appear in many of Poe's poems, including these.

"Perennial tears descend in gems."
    The Valley Of Unrest. Color these violet.
