Brian Dunseth. Dunseth sealed Real's first victory on a set piece cross from Clint Mathis. While running to the far post, "Dunsy" sent a diving header into the goal.

In front of 40,000 plus fans, which RSL rookie who was drafted first overall, made his debut and nearly scored a goal missing a header inches above the crossbar?
Nikolas Besagno. Nikolas only played in one other game during the 2005 season. In this game he became the second youngest player to start at age 16. Only Freddy Adu at age 14 was younger.

On Aug. 7, 2005, against fellow expansion team Chivas USA, which player was forever inked in the MLS record book by scoring the MLS's 5,000th goal?
Andy Williams. In the 49th minute and 20 yards out, Williams received a cross from Jason Kreis. Stopping the ball, Williams wound up and sent a bullet into the net scoring number 5,000.

At the 72-minute mark against this team, Jason Kreis chested down a cross from Dante Wahington, and on the rebound volleyed the ball from more than 20 yards out scoring his 100th goal. He became the first player in MLS history to do so. What team was his 100th goal scored against?
Kansas City Wizards. Unfortunatly, the 100th goal wouldn't be enough as Kansas City took the win 4-2.

On May 7, 2005, in their first game against Chivas USA goalkeeper DJ Countess went down in the 81st minute with an injury to his lower back. What player strapped up the gloves and filled in-between the poles for the remainder of the game?
Brain Kamler. Luckily for Kamler, he wasn't forced to make any saves. Kamler who had previous goalkeeping experience, rode out the last 10 minutes but Real was unable to score losing 1-0.

Which rookie was selected 2nd overall in the 2006 draft by Real Salt Lake?
Mehdi Ballouchy. The Morracan born Ballouchy was a crowd favorite with his quick feet and amazing ball distribution.

RSL played their home games on turf instead of grass. It was also not a secret that RSL was terrible on grass, spending their first year and a half as a frachise with out a win on the grass surface. What team did Real finally defeat in 2006, to get it's first 3 points on grass?
Los Angelas Galaxy. Not only was it Real's first win on grass, it was also their first win on the road. Without its star player Landon Donavon, the Galaxy collapsed to the feet of Jeff Cunningham and company.

Jamie Watson. Jamie was maybe one of the youngest and smallest players on the pitch, but the kid will never back down from anyone as was seen with his many encounters with rival players.

In 2006, RSL sent two players too the World Cup. One from the USA and another from Costa Rica. Who were those players?
Douglas Sequeira and Eddie Pope. Douglas Sequeira started the games for Costa Rica and took a few headers but none on goal. Eddie Pope started 2 games for the USA but was red-carded against Italy on a controversial call and would miss the Ghana match.
