Fun Trivia: S : Scooby-Doo

Special Sub-Topic: "Scooby Doo" - "What a Night for a Knight"

At the start of the episode, Scooby and Shaggy are walking home late one night. It's all because Scooby wanted to see a movie twice. What was the movie called?

Star, Dog Ranger of the North Woods. The pair then notice something moving in the bushes. They get obviously frightened but it turns out to be a frog, which Scooby goes running after.

Scooby chases a frog that he found in some bushes and Shaggy chases after him. They then come across something in the road. What is it?
Deserted delivery pick-up truck. The pair find the Black Knight sat in the driver's seat of the pick-up. This frightens them and they run off to tell the rest of the gang.

Shaggy tells the rest of the gang about the deserted vehicle and the Black Knight on the front seat that they have found and the gang follow him back to it. Fred finds a delivery address. Who was the black knight supposed to be delivered to?
Jameson Hyde-White. He is a professor from London, England. Daphne then finds a delivery note that says to deliver the Black Knight to the county museum.

Scooby and the gang travel to the county museum to deliver the black knight that they have found on the road. The curator thanks them but then tells them of a mysterious disappearance. Who has disappeared?
The professor. He then tells them of a curse, that the Black Knight comes to life when the moon is full. Shaggy and Scooby become frightened.

The gang visit the county museum, after closing time, to investigate the Black Knight mystery and, after breaking and entering, they become split up. Velma and Scooby are followed by the Black Knight. Where does Scooby go and hide?
In a plant pot. Velma also loses her glasses in the incident and has to search around for them. The Black Knight trips and gets trapped in the stocks. Shaggy turns up then and grabs Velma and runs away.

After encountering and escaping from the Black Knight, the whole gang search for clues. They come across three clues in quick succession. Which of these is not one of the clues found?
A blank canvas that reveals a code under ultraviolet light. Shaggy notices a picture missing on the wall and goes and tells the gang. They return and the picture is back. Then Daphne spots paint on the floor and they follow it to a mummy case. They open it and reveal an artist's studio with forgeries of the museum's pictures.

After finding a secret room, Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne are chased by the Black Knight. The five of them then get split up and Shaggy and Scooby end up together. They both end up hiding in which of these museum pieces?
In an aeroplane. Implausibly they hide in a 2-seater aeroplane. Scooby's tail switches the engine on by accident. The plane then takes off and flies around the room, finally crashing into the Black Knight, capturing the fiend.

The gang capture the Black Knight and reveal his identity as none other than...whom?
The curator. He was secretly making copies of the museum's pictures and hanging the fakes on the wall...whilst selling the originals.

After capturing the baddie, Velma and company reveal the story of what's been going on to the police. The baddie says he'd "have gotten away with it if it wasn't for" whom?
He doesn't actually say anything of the sort. He doesn't actually say anything. Scooby does however find the missing professor and tells he then tells of how he was captured and tied up by the curator, Mr. Wendels.

In what year was this first-ever episode of "Scooby Doo" aired on TV?
1969. It proved such a huge success that it was given its own prime time slot and the rest, as they say, is history.
