This small loch lies between Loch Lochy and Loch Ness on the Great Glen, what is its name?

    Loch Oich. Loch Oich is a small loch situated between Loch Lochy and Loch Ness along the Great Glen. It is connected to Loch Ness by Telford's famous Caledonian Canal and also the River Oich, which both flow through Fort Augustus before entering one of Scotland's most famous lochs.

Which loch lies in the middle of Glen More forest park?
    Loch Morlich. Glen More forest park lies in the beauty of the Cairngorms National Park. The forest contains a reindeer and visitors centre. On the edge of the forest lies the Cairngorm ski area.

Kenmore lies to the north of this Loch and Killin to the south. What is this loch called?
    Loch Tay. Loch Tay is a slanty s shaped loch. Famous for its Crannogs (round dwellings built out into the water), there is a centre you can visit and on a good day you may spot some remains in the water of where the Crannogs once used to be. At Kenmore there is a famous hotel where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed and at Killin the Falls of Dochart can be seen.

If you were travelling south to Edinburgh along the M90, what loch would you spot on your left just after Kinross?
    Loch Leven. Kinross house over looks this loch, which contains the island of St Serf.

Loch Katrine is the only loch to have a steam boat that still tours the loch.
    t. Loch Katrine can be found along The Trossachs Trail. People say The Trossachs are what Scotland would be if it was squashed into the palm of your hand. Katrine is the only loch that still has a traditional steam boat offering rides to tourists.

This loch lies along the A84 and is surrounded by Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, just north of Kilmahog.
    Loch Lubnaig. This is a small loch with stunning scenery, the road runs straight along its east side.

Loch Finlaggan lies on which island?
    Islay. Islay is perhaps more famous for its whisky, Laphroaig, Ardbeg and Lagavulin.

Loch Glass can be found where?
    Easter Ross. Loch Glass lies in the middle of nowhere really, it is not surrounded by any roads and is found north of the capital of the Highlands, Inverness.

Loch Broom lies on the east coast of Scotland?
    n. It actually lies on the west, slightly south of Ullapool. There is also a 'little Loch Broom', which in fact is bigger.

Loch Ewe contains a island of the same name.
    t. Loch Ewe lies in the Wester Ross area of Scotland. Nearby are the Inverewe Gardens run by The National Trust.
