Fun Trivia: U : Unfortunate Events - Characters

Special Sub-Topic: Sunny Baudelaire and her Mouth

Please leave this quiz/exit FunTrivia for life, knowing that they allow horrible quizzes like these. Even if you are a robot earning points for your master, you should go somewhere, skipping merrily. Seeing as that warning should have discouraged anyone taking this quiz, I should not cause any harm or tears by asking when Sunny said 'Gack' and what it meant.

When the Baudelaires were on Briny Beach. It meant 'Look at that mysterious figure emerging from the fog'.. She also said 'Gack' at the very end of the 11th book, 'The Grim Grotto'. I would tell you about that but it is unnecessary and likely to cause major distress. For your info, you scored 0/15/30/45/60/75/90/105/120/135/150/165/180/195/210/225 points. Now you don't have to continue finding out the results of the quiz and the correct answers!

In 'The Reptile Room', what word did Sunny say after Olaf, claiming, contrary to previous occasions, that he knew all about snakes?
Aha. Count Olaf forgot about his disguise and started bragging, so the hook handed man warned him. P.S. Since after my previous warnings you didn't listen, I will hope you will do the opposite to this warning. WARNING: Do NOT exit this quiz.

Lemony Snicket compared Sunny to whom, when she bit Count Olaf's peg leg in 'The Wide Window'?
Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great ruled Gordius' kingdom because he used a sword to cut a knot. Mr. Snicket compared that to Sunny biting a peg leg! If I were writing a more happy quiz I change one of the other three people's quotes slightly to fit the circumstances, such as 'A bite for baby, one giant bite for babykind' (Neil Toothstrong) or 'To bite or not to bite; that is not the question' (William Shakespeare). Unfortunately, this is not a nice quiz, so you should exit it immediately.

The 'Miserable Mill' is even worse than the previous books in the series, and most other books in the world. Sunny was in a sword/toothfight with whom in this excuse for an entertaining book?
Dr. Orwell. When Sunny was in a tooth/swordfight with Dr. Orwell, Violet was getting pulled by two people in different directions, and Klaus was chewing gum! If you are reading this, GO AWAY! Please.

In 'The Austere Academy', Sunny helped make staples for Vice Principal Nero as part of her job, using her teeth.
False. Using noisy shoes, yes. Using teeth, no. Please leave this quiz before I tell you even more information about this unlucky girl.

Sunny got out of the elevator shaft in 'The Ersatz Elevator' the ___ time using her teeth.
3rd. They went down the elevator to find Olaf, but they found the Quagmires instead! They went back up and got welding torches to melt the cage the Quagmires were trapped in. They went back down and found the Quagmires were gone! They went up for the second time and found Esme, after they discovered lot #50 is V.F.D., a secret the Quagmires told them. Esme pushed them back down the elevator, and Sunny climbed up for the third, that time using her teeth, not a rope, which was replaced with a net. Please try and forget all this and everything else about the Baudelaires.

At the end of 'The Vile Village', Sunny took her first steps. Violet said something about being self-sustainable, and Sunny replied: "Lik my".
false. She said, 'Like me', which was probably the first occasion she had used two proper words in a row. The longest phrase she ever used that was mentioned in the 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' happened when the Hotel Denouement burned down. She said 'The last safe place is safe no more'. That was just one of the devastating situations Sunny was in, and if you do not know any more of them, good.

Sunny opened ___ tins of alphabet soup in 'The Hostile Hospital'.
Two. She opened one for Klaus to use as anagrams, and one for Violet to use as an intercom. Both of these tins of soup saved one or all of the Baudelaire siblings' lives, only to have them threatened by more disturbing circumstances I hope you are unaware of.

In 'The Carnivorous Carnival', Madame Lulu had an archival library under a table in a fortune-telling tent. Sunny discovered it. But what did the Baudelaires think she was pointing at when she pointed to the table?
crystal ball. That crystal ball broke when Violet and Klaus pulled up the tablecloth. Unfortunately, the owner of that crystal ball is dead, eaten by lions to please a crowd I do not wish to speak about.

In 'The Slippery Slope', which food item did Sunny put into the casserole dish when Olaf told her to nap in the casserole dish?
Eggplant. The two white-faced women were ordered by Olaf to throw the casserole dish off the mountain, but they refused and walked down the mountain. Luckily, Sunny had thought of a plan which saved her life. Now I think about it, with all the adversity she went through after that, it may have been better if she had let herself welcome that horrible fate.

In 'The Grim Grotto', who did Sunny cook with on the Queequeg?
Phil. Phil brought loads of chewing gum for the Lucky Smells Lumbermill. He helped Sunny bake a cake for Violet's birthday, which they were planning to celebrate when the Baudelaires got back from the Gorgornian Grotto. Unfortunately, Violet's birthday did not go the way she had hoped it would.

Sunny Baudelaire spied on ___ in Hotel Denoument before meeting Hal and Dewey.
Vice Principal Nero, Mr Remora and Mrs Bass. Violet spied on Esme and Geraldine Juliene and Klaus spied on Sir and Charles. Dewey told Sunny to put a device on a door, making it a vernacularly fastened door. The vernacularly fastened door caused a tragic death you will hopefully not know about.

In 'The End', Sunny had fun making delicious food using difficult recipes on the island.
false. She found it very boring, and made dull, flavorless food using very simple recipes. Her siblings were even worse off, but please do not try and find what they were doing.

In the very short 'Book the Fourteenth', found at the back of 'The End', Sunny said which of these words?
mother. When Sunny said 'mother' she was referring not to Mrs Baudelaire, but to Kit Snicket, because she was saying Kit's child was saying goodbye to her mother before leaving the island. If you do not know what happened to Kit Snicket in 'The End', please do try to not find out.

Which of these things did Sunny not say in any of the 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' books?
I hate you.. Sunny said 'Delmo' when she learnt Aunt Josephine was scared of telephones. It means 'If you wish, I will bite the telephone to show you that it's harmless'. 'The last safe place is safe no more', and 'You little thing' mean in Sunny speak exactly the same as in English. I am sorry you have reached the end of this terrible quiz, and you should now bang your head on a table until you forget all that you have learnt in this quiz.
