    Mr. Ed. Bamboo Harvester was a Saddlebred that played the famed Mr. Ed. "Mr. Ed" ran from 1961 to 1966. Mr. Ed the famous talking horse.

    Trigger. Roy Rogers called his horse Trigger the world's smartest horse in the movies. Trigger could do over 30 tricks. Trigger's orginal name was Golden Cloud, and was half Thoroughbred.

I won a Silver Spur award for playing Black Beauty. I was also famous in Busch Beer commericals. I also had a bit part in "The Horse Whisperer" (1998), and I starred as the Black in "Adventures of the Black Stallion" (1990 - 1993). Who am I?
    Doc's Keepin' Time. Doc's Keepin' Time is best known for playing "Black Beauty" (1994) for which he won the Silver Spur award for. Cass Ole is best known for playing the Black in the "Black Stallion" (1979) and "The Black Stallion Returns" (1983). Hightower played Pilgrim in "The Horse Whisperer" and Rimrock played the horse that Robert Redford rode in "The Horse Whisperer" (1998).

    Phar Lap. Towering Inferno was a thoroughbred gelding who looked a lot like Phar Lap. The movie "Phar Lap" was released in 1983. Tom Burlinson played Tommy Woodcock Phar Lap's exercise boy.

I am a wild mountain horse. In one movie I give Tom Burlinson a hard time and in the second movie I help him out when his horse is killed. What does Tom Burlinson call me in the second movie?
    Old Man. The big black stallion in "The Man From Snowy River" (1982), and "Return to Snowy River" (1988). He never really was named. In the first movie he cuased a lot of problems from Tom's character Jim Craig. In the second movie after Danny was shot and killed on a suicide run the stallion allows himself to be ridden by Jim to get his mob back. The last thing Jim says to the old stallion is "You're the best Old Man. You should be free."

    Black Beauty. A classic tale of a horse and his owners written by Anna Sewell in the late 1800s. This is a story that tells about good owners and bad owners. Anna was into animal rights and couldn't stand cruelty to the horses in England in the 1800s.
