    n. Unfortunately, she never did any. She only did film and television acting. Her career was limited, but successful.

    t. She was! When she died, he accepted her Emmy Award for her.

What was the name of the first movie she was in?
    On The Town. In 1949, at age 32, she appeared in her first film, "On The Town", which made her very popular. In this, she played a girl named Lucy Shmeeler.

What year did she start playing her famous role of Gladys Kravitz on "Bewitched"?
    1964. In 1964, two years after finding out she had cancer, she signed up for the show "Bewitched". She signed up even though she knew she had cancer and she played the role for two marvelous years.

Who played her husband Abner on "Bewitched"?
    George Tobias & Tobias. On "Bewitched", Abner was played by George Tobias, who was 16 years older than Alice.

She had her own show "The Alice Pearce Show".
    t. In the late 1940s, she had her own show "The Alice Pearce Show", where she sang, danced, and performed comedy. It ran for 1 year.

    cancer, age 48. On the sad day of March 3, 1966, Alice Pearce, after battling ovarian cancer, and having several chemotherapy treatments, died at the very young age of 48. Having cancer made her lose all of her elbow length hair. Luckily, she wore a short wig throughout her career, so nobody could tell the difference. She was successful until she died.

Who took her place in the role of Gladys Kravitz?
    Sandra Gould. When Sandra Gould was asked to take Alice's place, she said no, saying she admired Alice's work, and didn't want to do a copy. Later, she changed her mind, and played Gladys from 1966-1972.
