    "The Smash". Donovan lost to Mike Tyson twice in 1991 and never won a Heavyweight title.

    Ezzard Charles. Ezzard won the vacant Heavyweight Championship by defeating Jersey Joe Walcott in 1949.

    Tadashi Mihara. Davey, lost the title to Robeto Duran in 1983 in a brutal fight (KO-8). Davey died at age 28 in a freak accident while in his garage in 1988.

Who did Roberto Duran fight in his first defense of the WBA Lightweight title he won from Ken Buchanan in 1972?
    Jimmy Robertson. Roberto won the title in 1972 and held on to it until 1979.

    15 round Split Decision. Carlos retired in 1979 and made a brief comeback in 1997. He retired for good in 1998.
