How did Willow first learn that her adoptive father Dr. Claude DeBeers was actually her birth father?
    Her father left a letter and diary for her to read after his death.. Her father's lawyer was instructed to give Willow a manilla envelope after his death. The envelope contained a letter from her father asking her to forgive him and a diary which chronicled how he met, fell in love and had a child (Willow) with one of his patients. He then adopted the child, telling his wife that she was the daughter of a patient who had been raped by an employee of the clinic.

What name does Willow use when she first arrives in Palm Beach pretending to be working on a psychology project, but actually trying to get closer to her birth mother?
    Isabel Amou. Isabella was the name of her beloved Portugese childhood nanny who was more like a mother to Willow than her A.M. (adopted mother). Amou was what Willow had always called Isabella. Mai was Thatcher's ex-girlfriend. Margaret Selby was Willow's snobbish cousin. Grace was Willow's mother.

When Thatcher finally learns who Willow is and why she really came to Palm Beach, he asks Willow not to tell Bunny and Asher until after their party. Why is Willow forced to tell them the truth in the middle of the party?
    Because Linden is missing and feared drowned. Linden becomes depressed when he learns that Willow is his sister. He had hoped she would be his girlfriend. He goes out in his boat and doesn't come back. Fearing that he may have drowned, Willow convinces Bunny and Asher to call in the Coast Guard to find him by telling them the truth about who she is.

    Annie Casteel. Annie Stonewall Casteel could sympathize with Willow because she learned that the man she had thought was her father was not after the death of her parents. Her story was told in the book 'Gates of Paradise' part of The Casteel Family Series.

What did the ladies in 'The Club d'Amour' find out about Thatcher?
    That he was still having a relationship with Mai Stone while married to Willow. Manon Florette and her girlfriends Liana, Sharon and Marjorie were known as 'The Love Club'. They took it upon themselves to keep tabs on fellow members husbands, boyfriends etc. They enlisted Willow as a reluctant member. When a private investigator they had hired took incriminating photos of Thatcher with Mai Stone, a pregnant Willow filed for divorce.

    Boo Radley. When Willow's classmate Holden Mitchell won't take no for an answer, Linden comes out of nowhere to rescue her. Thatcher jokingly said it was just like Boo Radley coming out of the shadows to rescue Scout in 'To Kill A Mockingbird'.

Why does Willow decide to name her daughter Hannah?
    Because Hannah means 'grace' in Hebrew. When Miguel finds out that Willow's baby will be a girl he suggests that she name her Hannah. He knows how close Willow is to her mother Grace and tells Willow that Hannah means 'grace' in Hebrew. Willow decides that that is the perfect name for the baby, despite Thatcher's dislike of the name.

Linden's obsession with Willow becomes dangerous after their mother's death. What does Linden do in an attempt to prove to Willow that they belong together?
    He locks Willow up in her bedroom to keep her and 'Our Hannah' for himself.. Linden locks Willow in her room, disconnects her phone extension and paints all the windows in the house black to keep out the world. Willow also discovered that Linden had drilled a hole in the wall that seperates her and Linden's bedroom so he could spy on her and Thatcher. While attempting to escape she fell down the stairs. Fortunatly, Willow and her unborn baby were alright thanks to Miguel who rescued her.

Who did Willow marry at the end of the book 'Wicked Forest'?
    Miguel Fuentes. Willow's close friendship with her professor became a romance after her divorce from Thatcher. Holden was Willow's overly aggressive classmate. Allan was Willow's first serious boyfriend before she came to Palm Beach.

At the end of the book 'Wicked Forest' a character from an earlier V.C. Andrews novel writes to Willow about her experiences in trying to find and reconnect with her mother. Which character was this?
    Melody Logan. Melody Logan felt a bond with Willow because of her own seperation from her mother, who had abandoned her with relatives while she persued fame and fortune in Hollywood. Melody's story was told in the novels 'Melody', 'Heart Song' and "Unfinished Symphony'.

    New Orleans. Heyden's father is a jazz musician in New Orleans and Heyden hopes that he can help them get a foot in the door. They rent a motor home, clean out Linden's bank account to buy supplies and set out for New Orleans. Of course, they run into trouble along the way.

What is the name of the farmhouse, owned by Mrs. Stanton and managed by Charles 'Chubs' Dawson, where Hannah and the others have to spend a few days when their motor home breaks down?
    Casa de la Luna. Mrs. Stanton's farm was called Casa de la Luna (House of the Moon). Joya del Mar (Jewel of the Sea) was Willow's family estate.

Mrs. Stanton's troubled granddaughter Bess confuses Hannah with her own daughter who died tragically many years before. What was her daughter's name?
    Rosemary. Bess thinks Hannah is actually Rosemay come back to her. Hannah plays along so that Bess won't be hurt. Lilliann is Mrs. Stanton's first name. Jessica was Bess's mother's name. Elisha was the name of Heyden's drug addicted sister.

At the end of the novel 'Twisted Roots', a character from an earlier V.C. Andrews novel writes to Hannah about the time she ran off with her boyfriend in search of his father. Which character was this?
    Summer Clarke. Summer Clarke writes to Hannah that Hannah's running away with Heyden reminded her of the time she went off with her boyfriend Harley to find his father. Summer's story is told in the novel 'The End of the Rainbow' part of The Hudson Family Series.

Why did Grace walk out into the water at the end of 'Into the Woods'?
    She thought her father was taking her onto his boat.. Grace began seeing the image of her long deceased father. She talked with him and one night thought that he had come to take her away with him forever.Her mother saw her walk out into the water, and with the help of a servant, pulled her out. Grace was then sent to the mental health clinic The Willows where she met Dr. Claude De Beers and the rest is history.

At the end of the novel 'Into The Woods', which V.C. Andrews character writes to Grace about her own experiences with joining high society after coming from a modest background?
    Ruby Landry. Ruby grew up poor in the swamps of Louisiana before finding her wealthy birth father and his family in New Orleans. She told Grace she knew what it was like trying to be accepted by people who were snobs while trying to hold on to your own values.
