When of age to be married, Helen had many suitors, so King Tyndareus made all the men swear an oath that they would be content with whoever Helen chose to marry. Whom did she end up choosing?
Menelaus. She did end up choosing Menelaus as her husband. He left his palace at Mycenae where his brother was king, and became the King of Sparta.

During the Trojan War, was it Menelaus that killed his wife's lover?
No. Menelaus had nothing to do with the death of Paris. The poisoned arrows of Hercules, belonging to Philoctetes, were said to have grazed his arm and killed him.

After the death of Paris, Helen gets married to Deiphobus. This is Helen's choice, as she has wanted him all along.
False. Helen was still mourning over Paris. She did not want to be with Deiphobus, but, with the death of Paris, the little power she had in Troy vanished.

After the fall of Troy, Helen and Menelaus were brought back together. On their way back to Sparta, however, storms sent their ship in other directions. Which of the following places did they NOT land on before they reached Sparta?
Ithaca. They spent several years in Cyprus, Phoenicia, and Egypt. Ithaca was never reached by the pair.

After Menelaus died, Helen was driven out of Sparta by Nicostratus and Megapenthes, escaping to Rhodes. Who was said to have killed Helen while she was in Rhodes?
Polyxo's servants. Helen believed Polyxo was her friend, but Polyxo wanted to avenge her husband, Tlepolemus, who died at Troy. Polyxo sent her servants to grab Helen while she was bathing, and hang her from a tree.
