Katherine of Aragon. Mary and Anne both served in the court as ladies-in-waiting to Queen Katherine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry VIII.

William Stafford. Mary's second husband, William Stafford, was but a servant. Because of this, Mary was cast out by her family for marrying below her station.

Catherine Carey. Anne Boleyn chose her niece, Catherine Carey, as the maid-in-waiting she was allowed to take with her to the Tower of London when she was arrested. Anne also walked with Catherine to the scaffold where she was executed.
