'Fortune favors the bold,' is a quote from a Roman epic poem written by Virgil. Alexander of Macedonia, son of King Philip II of Macedon, was born into privilege and it was presumed that he would one day be a great ruler. He proved them right and was not only a great ruler because of his strength and physical skills, but because he had extensive educational background and a great knowledge of his day. This tagline really fits the movie because Alexander's success and fortune has to do with his strength and boldness.
