Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Several "Buffy" companion guide authors and many, many fans have noted Vamp Willow's amazing resemblance to the Mirror Universe Major Kira ("The Intendant") character from 'Deep Space Nine'. Not only do the characters resemble each other in looks and dress, their alternate universe personalities are, for all intents and purposes, virtually identical.

Cordelia, Angel, Xander, Willow, Buffy. Cordelia is killed early in the episode, by Vamp Willow and Vamp Xander. Angel dies next, staked by Xander. Buffy stakes Xander, and Willow is pushed onto a broken, wooden part of a cage by Larry and Oz. Buffy's neck is broken by The Master, much in the way that Angel killed Ms. Calendar in the real world.

The Tempest. "Brave New World," is the name of a classic science fiction novel by Aldous Huxley, but he got the title from "The Tempest." It was one of Miranda's lines in that play: "O brave new world, That has such people in't!" A "Hamlet" quote was used in the episode "The Dark Age" - "The rest is silence."
