    3 however only 2 were counted. The 3rd race started in heavy rain and was going to be a 6 lap sprint after many delays, however after a huge crash the race was red flagged after only a few laps. The race would have most likely been won by Russel Ingall.

Which driver's car was totalled by Paul Dumbrel at the Australian Grand Prix?
    Paul Morris. Rookie Paul Dumbrel had gone wide in corner one because of the rain, and then rejoined right into the side of Morris's car ripping of an entire wheel.

    Mark Skaife. Marcos Ambrose was on top after race one, however crashed in race two giving Mark Skaife an easy win.

    He needed to make the pit entry. This made Jason turn Marcos around. Marcos had to drive the whole circuit again to make his stop.

What was the final official verdict for the Bright & Ambrose incident at Phillip Island?
    Racing incident. After a stewards meeting, the officials declarded it a racing incident because both drivers were in the wrong.

What was the most special thing about the Eastern Creek round for Ford?
    It was a all Ford podium. They called it the Ford Trifecyta with Marcos Ambrose winning the race from Russel Ingall and Craig Lwondes.

What was the main reason Jeff Grech was so unhappy after the 3rd race at Barbagallo?
    Mark Skaife was hit by another car. Ford driver Rodney Forbes was about to be lapped by Skaife when he spun, and then crashed into the left front wheel of Skaife's car, sending skaife to the pits to replace his wheel.

At Queensland raceway, Marcos Ambrose was leading and then had to make his final stop. What was the error in this pit stop that cost him the race?
    He crashed into another car exiting his bay. Marcos would have came out a comfortable margin in front of his teammate after his final stop, however when he was exiting his bay he stalled the car and the lost his concerntration. He drove into another car in the fast lane. This resulted in him having a drive through penalty.

Endurance races requires two drivers who share the driving for the race. How much percentage of a race is one driver able to complete?
    60%. If one driver completes more than 60% of a race then the car will be excluded from the race results.

In the Sandown 500 what happened to #4 Stone Brother Ford mid-way through the race?
    The car spun off into the gravel trap and then was dragged out a lap down. The car was coming down the main straight when it spun into the gravel which brought out the safety car while it was dragged out by a tractor and rejoined a lap down.

Which driver was at fault for the car #4 incident at Sandown?
    Russel Ingall. Russel Ingall left the pit lane and forgot to warm his new brake pads up which left him with no brakes approaching turn one.

After 100 laps there was extremelly heavy rain which left drivers driving at 40km/h behind the safety car. What happend to the race after this
    The race was going to late so it was stopped. Lucky Mark Skaife was able to take the win on his slowing Holden Commodore which was sufering eletrical problem

Who won the 2003 Bathurst 1000?
    Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly. It was a another incident packed Bathurst and probally the most unlucky driver was Mark Skaife who was forced to make 3 more stops than the winner Greg Murphy did.

What part of the Holden Racing Team's car #1 caused a controversial decision by the stewards to get it repaired?
    Door. Unlucky Mark Skaife was looking likelly for having a great battle with Greg Murphy for the win when he was forced by the stewards to fix his rear door which was opening slightlly when he had colided with John Bowe.

When was the last time Greg Murphy didn't win his home round in New Zealand?
    He has always won it. Greg Murphy has been named the King of Pukehohe winning every year since it was a V8 Supercar round in 2001

Ford Driver russel Ingall could still win the championship in the final round because of his win at Queensland and the Gold Coast.
    f. Russel Ingall was the last competitor that could still win the championship coming into the second last round however two bad races meant he could no longer fight for it

The top ten shootout is a vital part of a V8 Supercar round however they did not count the results from the pukehohe shootout because?
    There was different weather conditions. The shootout strated in slightlly rainy conditions and as it progressed the conditions were unfair to later competitors.

Team mates will not play any role in the final round because no team orders are permitted.
    f. A drivers team mate could play a vital role in winning a championship with a team making them let there number one driver through for more championship points.

Bathurst winner greg Murphy didn't take part in the final race of the season because?
    He injured his back. Greg Murphy had taken part in a promotional drive before the race and when he pulled the handbrake on his car he injured his back and was not able to take part in the race.

Mark Skaife received a drive through penalty in the first race because?
    He jumped the start. Mark Skaife had pole for race 1 at Eastern Creek and got a great start ahead of his team mate Todd Kelly however the officials determined it was too good and gave him the penalty.

Race 2 at eatern Creek there was a major incident involving Mark Skaife and Jason Bright.
    f. Mark Skaife and Russel Ingall were battling for many laps until Skaife finally went down the inside into one of the corners pushing Russel Ingall of the road slightly. The result was that Ingall spun Skaife around in a straight line sending the #1 Holden into retirement.

After the incident Mark Skaife got out of his car and ran next to the track as the car that retiered him came around and shouted at the offending driver. What did this driver do in response?
    Swerved at Skaife. The offending driver Russel Ingall saw Skaife and immediatlly swerved at high speed towards Skaife.

The winner of the Eastern Creek Round was?
    Marcos Ambrose. Marcos Ambrose won the championship with a fantastic race win in the final race of the season.

Who won the 2003 V8 Supercar Championship?
    Marcos Ambrose. The first shampionship win for Ford since 1997 came from Stone Brothers Racing's Marcos Ambrose
