Who is the mangaka for "W-Juliet"?

Emura. Emura is of course the mangaka of this wonderfull manga! The title "W-Juliet" is derived from the Japanese pronounciation of the word "double", the title essentially meaning "Double Juliet".

Is the main character of "W-Juliet" a male?

No. Ito Miura is a girl, though she is often mistaken for a boy. But she is very beautiful in her roles as a woman...though, then again, her drama club teacher prefers her in men's clothes. "slender body, husky voice...perfect for a Romeo"

Under what genre of manga is "W-Juliet" placed?

Shojo. Shojo are mangas aimed toward girls. The main characters are usually female and sport spontaneous appearance of lush flowers and large intricate eyes. Some examples are "Fruits Basket", "Hana-Kimi" and "CardCaptor Sakura". Shonen are aimed toward boys and are mainly concentrated on action adventures. Some examples are "Naruto", "Bleach" or "Dragonball Z". Yaoi is boy love and Yuri is girl love. I have no examples for those because they don't interest me....^_^;

How many brothers does Ito have?

three. Ito has three very protective brothers, two older and one younger and all of them are very cute!

What is Ito's dream?

To become an action movie star. Remember, this in testing you only on the first volume! Later on, we find out that Ito had an additional dream of living together with her love. (And may I mention he is too cute!)

For a uniform, does Ito wear the school's shirt and pants for the boys?

Yes. Although Ito is a girl, she often comes to school wearing the boy's uniform instead. Her hoomroom teacher is often seen chasing Ito around demanding that she wear her proper uniform, making great comic relief. In the very last volume of "W-Juliet", Ito wears the uniform to her graduation and her hoomroom teacher is seen cying for joy.

Does Ito first meet Makoto Amano in the drama club?

Yes. Yes! We first me Mako in the drama club; that is followed by a hilarious moment in the locker room! I have to say, I loved it when Ito says that she would run around the school with only her shirt over her head for a million dollars.

Do both Ito's and Makoto's families run a dojo?

Yes. Yes. Both of their familes run a dojo. Mako's father demands that Mako run the dojo and that is one of the problems that Ito and Mako have to overcome as Mako does not want to inherit the dojo.

Which one of the following names is Mako's sister?

Akane. The correct answer is Akane. I just love her, she's so sweet. She is one of the reasons that Mako's dream was reached. Without her help, the secret would have been out of the bag in a day. Tsubaki and Sakura are Mako's other sisters.

When does Ito find out Makoto's big secret?

When Ito walks in on Mako. I found it very interesting that Ito found out Mako's secret in a couple of pages! When Mako gets invited to Ito's house, one of her brothers sprays Mako with a hose. When Mako is changing into something dry, Ito realizes that she doesn't have anything to change into. When she opens the door to hand Mako some clothes, she finds out that Mako is a man!
