Hay Lin. Hay Lin has the power over air and discovers it when she sneezes and blows up her entire room.

Who tells the girls about Phobos, Meridian, and their powers?

Hay Lin's Grandmother. Hay Lin's grandmother invites the girls over for snacks and while there she tells them about Meridian and how Phobos rules poorly over it. She also tells them of their powers they are supposed to use to close portals between worlds.

Taranee. When Mrs. Lin is telling them about their powers she quotes "Taranee I believe you've always been afraid of fire".

Irma. Irma has the power over water and the only one who thinks that having powers is cool.

Cornelia. Cornelia has the power over earth. This was proved when she tried to kill the plant and it kept growing.

The Heart of Kandrakar. The Heart of Kandrakar is what summons and magnifies their powers. Will is the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar.

What have we got in front of us?. Hay Lin looks behind her to see her wings and says "What have we got behind us?" Cornelia quickly responds with "What have we got in front of us?"
