Fun Trivia: A : Angel Season 5: Smile Time

Special Sub-Topic: Wee Little Puppet Man

First off, who gets turned into a puppet?

Angel. It looked just like David Boreanaz. It was great.

Which character made their second season 5 appearance in this episode?
Nina. Lilah hasn't appeared at all this season, she was killed in season 4. Lindsey's been in 3 episodes already. Cordelia made her first and last season 5 appearance in "You're Welcome." Nina, the werewolf, was back in this episode.

What is "Smile Time"?
A television show. Lorne said the show was one of the highest rated child television shows. Gunn discovered it was because it was run by demons.

What is wrong with Gunn's super-lawyer program?
It is fading away.. The Senior Partners only gave him access to a temporary upgrade. Who knows what Gunn has done to get it fixed? My guess is that it is not good.

Which "Angel" writer made an appearance in this episode?
David Fury. The episode was written and directed by Ben Edlund. David Fury made an appearance in "Once More With Feeling" on "Buffy". He plays the creator of "Smile Time" in this episode.

Finish the quote: "Is there a ______ in the house?"
Gepetto & Gepetto & Geppeto & Geppetto. Lorne says this when he finds Angel-the-puppet shredded by an attack from Nina.

Who tried to give Fred a late Valentine's Day gift?
Knox. Apparently Fred didn't find Knox as her type after a couple of dates.

What kind of weapon did Angel take with him to "Smile Time"?
Sword. The sword was bigger than he was when he was a puppet.

Spike was only in one scene.
    t. Spike was only present in the scene where he stumbles across Angel as a puppet and laughs at him. Angel gets really mad and throws him through a window and attacks him. Poor Spike, beat down by an angry puppet.

Who kissed at the end of the episode?
Fred and Wesley & Wesley and Fred & Wes and Fred & Fred and Wes. It's about time, too. I needed someone to get together this season. I was dying without couple-drama. Plus, Wes looked really hurt in season 3's "Waiting In The Wings" when Fred and Gunn got together and I wanted them to have their shot.
