Erica Kane. Travis was scheduled to drive his race car, in a race, but he had to go out of state to tend to some business involving Jesse Hubbard, Les Baxter, and Yvonne Caldwell. Travis could not make the race, in time, so Erica took it upon herself to drive his race car and substitute for Travis. This race was crucial, for Travis, since he and Matt Connelly were the front runners to win and they had a bet. If Travis won, then he would get ownership rights to Tempo magazine but, if Matt won, then Adam Chandler would get Travis' basketball team (Matt was racing for Adam Chandler and Tempo). Erica ended up winning the race so Travis got Tempo.

What color dress did Angie wear in this showing of "AMC"?

Red. Angie realized that Jesse was going to confront Les down in West Virginia and followed him down there, wearing a red dress. Jesse knew about Les Baxter running an illegally baby ring off the black market and confronted him about it (Yvonne Caldwell sold her baby at this baby ring). Jesse and Les struggled and this wound up in Jesse pushing Les down a flight of stairs to Les' death. Angie told off Jesse for killing her father and did not believe Jesse when he claimed that Les Baxter ran the illegal baby ring.

Travis Montgomery was pleased when he first heard that someone was driving his race car in the race.

f. Near the end of the episode, Travis got back on his private plane to get to the race but Barbara told him he would not make it in time and that she would have to pull him from the race. However, Travis' friend called him and told him that Erica was driving his car and really trying to win. Travis laughed since he thought it was a joke but then realized his friend was serious. He begged his friend to get Erica out of the race but the friend said there was nothing he could do to change Erica's mind. Travis last commented that he had to get to the race tracks to stop Erica before she got herself killed. However, Travis was thrilled when Erica wound up victorious in the race.

Tom Cudahy and Skye Chandler had lunch at a restaurant. Who seated them at the restaurant?

Ellen Dalton. Tom decided to have lunch someplace besides his restaurant, The Goalpost, so he and Skye went to a restaurant where Ellen worked. Ellen seated them, at their table, and Tom noticed that Hillary Wilson and Mitch Beck were at a table near them. Tom accused Skye of inviting Tom to lunch, at that particular restaurant, to upset both Mitch and Hillary but Skye denied the allegations. When Tom went to take a phone call, Skye went to Mitch's table to talk to him (Hillary had just gone to the bathroom) and Tom saw Skye talking to Mitch. Tom left Skye to eat lunch by herself.

Who defended Erica to Barbara Montgomery?

Brooke English. When news first got out that Erica was in the race in Travis' car, Barbara called Erica a "wonder woman." Brooke overheard this and told Barbara that, while she did not like Erica, she had to hand it to her for having guts. Barbara stated that Erica did not have any brains for pulling this stunt and that was when Brooke told Barbara that she was wrong since Erica was quite intelligent. This was a rare moment since Erica and Brooke were one of the show's biggest arch-rivals.

At the end of the episode, Angie went home with Jesse.

f. Angie was very upset, with Jesse, for killing her father in self defense and she told him she wished he was not involved in her father's deal with Yvonne Caldwell. Angie said that Jesse did not have to kill him but Jesse claimed Les would have killed him. Angie decided to go home but not with Jesse. Instead, she asked a police officer to escort her home.

Who spoke to Matt Connelly, in the middle of the race on the headphones, and notified him that Travis was not driving in the race but someone else was in Travis' car?

Mark Dalton. Mark heard the announcement that Erica was in Travis' car and ran to Matt's pit crew and asked to speak to him on the headphones. Mark told Matt that Erica was in Travis' car and he had to stop her. Matt and Erica, at one point, were right next to each other, in the race, and Matt signaled to Erica to pull over to the side. Erica told Matt that Travis could not make it so she was going to win for him and Matt tried to talk her out of continuing the race. Erica decided to continue racing.

In which West Virginia city did Jesse track down Les Baxter, with Angie right on Jesse's heel?

Charleston. Prior to this episode, Yvonne asked Jesse to investigate the baby ring on the black market where she sold her baby. Jesse did some investigating and realized that Les Baxter was the one in charge of the baby ring. He found out that Les was in Charleston, West Virginia and went there to confront him and ask where Yvonne's baby was. Angie found out, herself, that Jesse went to Charleston to find her father and decided to go there as well. Yvonne got her baby back.

What did Mark Dalton use to try and flag down Travis' race car?

His jacket. As soon as Mark found out Erica, not Travis, was in the race car out on the race tracks, he made his way out there and took off his jacket. When Erica came around to the starting line, he used his jacket to try and wave down Erica but he was unsuccessful. The role of Mark was originated by actor Mark La Mura, who was born in 1948.

In this episode, what medical treatment did Silver Kane undergo?

Hypnosis. Silver Kane was being brainwashed by a maniacal doctor named Damon Lazarre into thinking she was really a woman named Noelle Keaton. Lazarre did this since he and Silver's mother, Goldie Kane, concocted a scheme to get Silver to kill Erica. Silver had suspicions about what was going on with Dr. Lazarre and started seeing a therapist to try and remember who she really was. In this episode, her therapist decided to hypnotize Silver to see if she could regain more memories of her past. Jeremy Hunter supported Silver's efforts to try and remember her past life.
