Special Sub-Topic: What's Their Theme Song?

The Labrador Retriever Society of America was very suprised to find that the Led Zeppelin song that they had chosen was, despite its title, not about their favorite canine.

Black Dog. Remember that song? "Hey, hey mama..." Like most Zeppelin songs, the title had absolutely nothing to do with the lyrics.

The Kentucky Horseracing Fans Club enjoyed their selection by Dan Fogelberg as they sipped mint juleps.
Run for the Roses. In reality, this is a sweet song about a thoroughbred colt growing up.

Somewhat worried about their property, the Quizzyland Hotel disbanded the Pyromaniacs Association conference, but not until they had listened to their selection performed by both The Doors and Jose Feliciano.
Light My Fire & Light The Fire & Come On Baby Light My Fire & Come On Baby, Light My Fire. This song is intense, especially the version by the Doors.

The Small Boat Retailers Association enjoyed their selection from Styx, feeling it would prompt buyers to purchase a boat.
Come Sail Away & Sail Away. Styx typically produced light and airy pop songs.

The Garbage Collectors of America felt that their song selection, by Lynyrd Skynyrd, demeaned their profession by focusing on the negative aspect of their job.
That Smell & What's that Smell & That Smell? & What's That Smell? & Whats That Smell. This is really a song about the horrors of drug addiction.

The Bible Thumpers Missionary Society was surprised to find that their choice by Led Zeppelin was not as pious a ballad of redemption as its title implied.
Stairway to Heaven. For once, a Zeppelin song where the title words actually appear in the lyrics!

The Christmas Tree Growers listened to a ballad by Barbra Streisand whose title reminded them of their favorite trees.
Evergreen & Ever green. A song typically associated with plush velvet bars.

The Berry Growers Association listened to a Beatles tune that inspired optimism about their profession.
Strawberry Fields Forever & Strawberry Fields. As most people know, "Strawberry Fields" was actually an orphanage.

The Plumbing Inspection Associaton appreciated their selection by Chumbawamba, even though the lyrics didn't seem too relevant.
Tubthumper & Tub Thumper & Tubthumping & Tub Thumping. This is yet another title that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the lyrics.

The Elephant Alliance marched around the room to their rousing anthem from Fleetwood Mac.
Tusk. However, Mick Fleetwood wasn't thinking of elephants when he penned this rousing anthem :>)
