Where is Prince's Quay?

    Hull. Prince's Quay is in the centre of Hull and is quite unusual as it stands on stilts over water that used to be a dock. It is not a big mall at 100 stores. Hull stands on the river Humber and is more formally known as Kingston Upon Hull. It is a major port and nearby it the Humber Bridge which when it was opened in 1981 was the longest single span suspension bridge in the world.

Where is Meadowhall?
    Sheffield. Meadowhall is one of the biggest malls in the UK with over 270 stores. It's built on what was an old steel works and is next to the M1 motorway, perhaps the busiest road in England. Sheffield is a centre in the north of England and perhaps most famous for being the setting of the film "The Full Monty", some of the scenes were filmed in Meadowhall.

Where is the Bullring?
    Birmingham. The Bullring has been a centre for retail in Birmingham for hundreds of years, first as a market then a shopping centre. Recent refurbishment has seen the Bullring become an indoor mall with over 100 stores. Birmingham is in the West Midlands and is the UK's second biggest city.

Where is the White Rose Centre?
    Leeds. The White Rose Centre is just outside Leeds and has over a 100 stores. Leeds is an industrial city in the north of England. After many years of decline it is now reinventing itself as an upmarket retail centre.

Where is the Frenchgate Centre?
    Doncaster. The Frenchgate Centre is in the middle of Doncaster, a big town in the north of England. It is one of three malls in the town and by far the biggest with over 80 stores. Doncaster is probably most famous for the racecourse on the edge of town.

Where is the Trafford Centre?
    Manchester. Trafford Centre is a very ornate building both outside and in. It is a big mall with over 280 stores and 38 restaurants. It is just outside Manchester and not far away from Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, possibly the most famous football (soccer) team in the world.

Where is the Metro Centre?
    Newcastle Upon Tyne. The biggest mall in the UK, and once the biggest in Europe, Metro Centre has over 300 stores and is so big it even has its own indoor funfair. It is near to Newcastle Upon Tyne, a city in the north east of England which stand, not surprisingly on the River Tyne.

Where is the Grafton Centre?
    Cambridge. Grafton Centre is a small mall of only 70 stores and is in the middle of Cambridge, one of the historic university towns in England. Cambridge is in the east of England and stands on the river Cam from which it gets its name.

Where is the Queensgate Centre?
    Peterborough. Queensgate Centre has 100 stores and was opened in 1982. It is in the centre of Peterborough, which is in the east of England.

Where is the Victoria Centre?
    Nottingham. Victoria Centre is in the middle of Nottingham, it has over 100 stores and also a market, the only market in the city centre. Nottingham is most famous for Robin Hood of course but also for the lace industry. It's still possible to buy Nottingham Lace all over the world.
