Fun Trivia: W : Walt Disney World

Special Sub-Topic: Where in Disney Am I?

I'm standing in what looks like a torture room for cars. There are crash dummies and car parts all around me being tested. Where am I?

Test Track. Test Track is located in Epcot, where the World of Motion formerly stood. Test Track puts riders in the test seat of a new car. Hold on tight!

I'm at my hotel, and I'm trying to check in, but I can't. The lobby is filthy and covered in dust and cobwebs, and there is a long line of people waiting to go into the library, all talking about some kind of elevator. Where am I?
Tower of Terror. The story line behind Tower of Terror is that on a stormy night, an entire guest wing and an elevator carrying five people disappeared into the Twilight Zone. Now it's your turn!

I'm on a boat, but the water is only about a foot deep. I keep going through room after room filled with little dolls dressed in costumes and singing the same song over and over again. It's getting annoying! Where am I?
It's a Small World. This classic ride hasn't changed in years but it's still incredibly popular!

I want to tell my friend about the hotel I stayed at, but I can't remember its name. It's blue outside and is supposed to look like Cape Cod in Massachusetts. The pool is actually four connected pools and has a huge pirate ship slide! Can you tell me where I stayed?
The Beach Club. The Beach Club, along with its sister resort, The Yacht Club is absolutely beautiful, and there is enough to do there to fill an entire vacation! There are restaurants, an ice-cream shop, a salon, a beach and pools, and even a fitness center!

I'm on some sort of safari and I am looking at all different kinds of animals, from elephants and zebras to hippos and lions. Wait a minute, am I still in Florida? Which Disney park am I in?
The Animal Kingdom. The Kiliminjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom is as close to the real thing as you can get in the US. You can see all different kinds of exotic animals in their natural habitats. You even have a run-in with poachers!

I've just left the Magic Kingdom, and I'm trying to get back to my hotel. I'm in a long car and we're traveling high above the road. There's nothing under us but one thin rail. What am I on?
Monorail. The monorail whisks its guests high above Disney World at speeds of up to 45 mph! With the monorail, you can travel from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot in half the time it would take to drive.

I'm visiting a house in the Magic Kingdom, and these people actually have cars to take you through their house! You would think with all these people, they could keep it cleaner! Where am I?
The Haunted Mansion. The Haunted Mansion is the only ride to be in a different land in each of the four Disney parks around the world!

I thought I was taking a leisurely train ride, but this driver must be crazy! We're flying around sharp turns and drops, and it looks like we're going through an abandoned mining town! Where am I?
Big Thunder Mountain. One of the Magic Kingdom's three mountain ranges, Big Thunder is located in Frontierland. The best time to ride this ride is around noontime, when the sun melts the grease on the tracks, and at night when the ride is sped up.

I'm taking a ride through space! We had a liftoff and I'm even feeling weightless! What ride am I experiencing?
Mission Space. Although Space Mountain does simulate a ride through space, it doesn't feature a simulated liftoff. Mission Space, which opened in late summer of 2003, is said to be as close to the real thing as you can get! NASA even helped Disney design and build the ride.

I've been through space, now it's time to go back in time! I am in charge of traveling way back to capture a dinosaur and bring him back to the present. But watch out for that giant asteroid! Where am I?
Dinosaur. Formerly called Countdown to Extinction, this thrill ride is located in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
