"Which way, up or down?". "She chose down".
8. By choosing down Sarah ends up in an oubliette. Luckily she is rescued by Hoggle who is sent by Jareth to lead her back to the beginning, hopefully to frustrate her enough that she'll give up. Answer: Forget

What a fun word...oubliette.

Answer: bracelet

Ugly little Hoggle collects odd pieces of jewelry, even plastic bracelets.

"Smell bad!"
14. Ludo and Sarah encounter the door knockers. Which knocker is the first to speak to them?

Answer: the door knocker with his ears plugged

"It's very rude to stare" is what the knocker with his ears plugged says. All the door knocker with his mouth plugged can do is mumble. That is until Sarah removes the knocker to ask him a few questions. "Knock, and the door will open". Poor door knocker. Just after having his mouth free, the knocker is jammed back in his mouth, allowing Sarah and Ludo to go through.

To exit the Bog, they have to ask permission of Sir Didymus. What type of animal is Didymus?

Answer: Fox terrier

Sir Didymus is a fox terrier who relies on his keen sense of smell. There has been some discussion as to what kind of creature Sir Didymus is. The production notes from the movie describe Didymus as a fox-terrier who ferociously guards the bridge across The Bog of Eternal Stench.
17. Sir Didymus has a trusty steed who just happens to bear a striking resemblance to Merlin, Sarah's dog. What is the name Sir Didymus calls his steed?

Answer: deep in your eyes

Yes I am a sucker and own the soundtrack. By far the best song in the whole movie... well for me at least.

And thanks to all who have been helpful in making sure I have the most accurate information. I incorrectly had "sad look" and changed to "sad love".
20. Sarah comes out of this hallucinogenic stupor and makes her way to the entrance to the city that lies near the castle of the goblin king. Unfortunately there is a mechanical creature that has to be dealt with before the gang can make their way through the city. Who ends up defeating this creature?

Answer: Hoggle

Hoggle is feeling very contrite after passing the bad peach on to Sarah. He walks on top of the wall and jumps on the creature. The poster is real and was done by this kooky artist. Who is it?

Answer: M.C. Escher

My favorite artist, M.C. Escher. The title of the artwork is "Relativity".

Answer: You have no power over me

David Bowie had more costume changes and wore more makeup in this movie than I ever will in my entire lifetime.
24. By saying the entire speech to Jareth she is transported back to her home along with brother Toby. She rushes into her room, and realizes that sometimes in her life the inner child needs the fun and excitement that this adventure gave, but most importantly the friendships she encountered. By saying that she needs them Sarah's room is magically transformed into party central. Sir Didymus proposes a game. What game does he want to play?

Answer: Scrabble

"I say, is anyone up for a game of Scrabble?"
25. With brother Toby safe and sound she bequeathes him her beloved teddy bear. What is the name of that bear?

Answer: Lancelot
