I grew up in this small town at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula, in the North Island. This town is named after a river in England.
In 1997, I moved to New Zealand's largest city. It has a famous Sky Tower and the America's Cup lived here for a while.
In 1999 I moved to a region in the far north of the country. This area is named after one of its more obvious features, and is famous for its big game fishing.
Big Fish Lake
Bay of Islands
In 2002 I moved to a location, in the South Island. It is a city with a rich Scottish heritage, a stunning harbour and some great hills.
Now, onto places that I haven't necessarily lived in, but visited and enjoyed. When I was 8 I went on holiday to this Pacific Ocean country. The capital is Suva, but I spent most of time around Nadi.
In 2005 I visited another Pacific Ocean country. I stayed on the main island, Rarotonga, but this country is made up of a lot more islands to the north and east.
I made two overseas trips in 2000. The first was for my 30th birthday, which I spent in a capital city. The Mona Lisa lives here.
My other trip in 2000 was to the most populous country in the world. I walked on the Great Wall and in Tienanmen Square.
My first major overseas trip was to England for Christmas in 1998. I spent most of my time in the southwestern-most part of the country, which has fantastic scenery and a rich heritage, including pirates and shipwrecks.
I also did a trip to Australia a while ago. I spent 27 hours on a bus from Melbourne to get to this town in the middle of the outback, between Adelaide and Darwin. The Todd River runs through the town, although it's dry for all but a few days per year.
