Answer: 1620

The Pilgrims settled in 1620, after Christopher Columbus discovered America. The local Native American people helped the first settlers plant crops for food. In November 1621, the colonists and the Native Americans shared an autumn harvest feast which was organized by the colonists to show their thanks to the Native American people for their help and cooperation.

Hence, it is acknowledged as Thanksgiving Day today.
