The ancient Egyptians not only mummified humans but they often did the same with their dearest pets. Mostly, monkeys, cats and crocodiles were the lucky ones.
2. The ancient Egyptians called the northern part of their country Upper Egypt?

Answer: No

In fact, Egyptians called Northern Egypt Lower Egypt and Southern Egypt Upper Egypt. Northern Egypt is downstream on the Nile; Southern Egypt is upstream.

Answer: Sun god- Re

The Egyptians loved to wear lucky charms. Their favourites were the scarabs. These were believed to drive away ill fate and bring in good luck.

Answer: miw

The Egyptian word for cat was miw- a cross between miaow and mew! Egyptians were probably the first ones to domesticate cats. They used them to catch mice in grain stores.
5. How were Egyptian brushes made?

The Egyptians wrote not with quills but with these brushes. The paint or ink was made from soot or red earth.

Though only a few women ruled Egypt, Cleopatra was not the only one. Another famous woman pharaoh was Hatshepsut. These women had to wear badges of royalty which included a false beard too!
