1. Thomas Gabriel was starting to get more than a little annoyed with McClane's interference and decided he needed some leverage. He instructed his computer hacker to look for McClane's daughter, Lucy. Where did they find her? at home with her mother caught in a massive traffic snarl on a date with her boyfriend trapped in an elevator

2. The terrorists' real target turned out to be a building called Woodlawn, a building that was supposed to be part of the Social Security system. What was there that Gabriel was so interested in? The building was a front for a store of chemical weapons. There was a secret gold reserve hidden underneath the building. Financial data was being dumped into a server farm there. Records of nuclear armaments were kept there.

3. Once in the building, Farrell triggered the alarms at Woodlawn, alerting the F.B.I. about the breech. While preparing to investigate, F.B.I. Agent Bowman was apprised of exactly what was in that building, by representatives of other federal agencies. When Bowman asked why he had not known of this before, what was he told? It was above his pay grade. They themselves had only just found out. They hadn't thought it would be relevant to the situation. It was on a need to know basis and he didn't need to know.

4. By this point Gabriel's identity was known, and Bowman asked how Gabriel knew about the financial download. What was he told? Gabriel killed someone for the information. Gabriel had designed it. Gabriel hacked the information from the NSA's computers. Gabriel bought the information from a disgruntled employee, who he later killed.

7. When Lucy and Farrell met, Lucy introduced herself as Lucy McClane. Farrell said "I thought your name was Lucy Gennero." What did Lucy reply? "It's actually Lucy Gennero McClane." "I go by both names." "Not today." "How did you know my name?"

8. Gabriel put Lucy and Farrell into a cube van with a couple of his remaining henchman and took off. The huge truck carrying his command centre followed. McClane jumped on top of the truck, knocked out the driver and took his place. Who helped McClane get in touch with the F.B.I.? Bowman Lucy Farrell Warlock

9. McClane's luck finally ran out and he was shot, superficially. In extreme frustration Gabriel stood behind McClane, holding a gun to his chest and threatening to shoot if Farrell did not remove the encryption he had inserted in the downloaded data. How did McClane deal with Gabriel? Farrell threw the computer board at him, giving McClane a chance to gain control. McClane grabbed the gun, twisted out of his grasp and shot him. McClane grabbed the gun and shot Gabriel through his own shoulder. Lucy shot Gabriel while her father distracted him.
