The Kingdom of Caring was founded by True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse. The Care Bears lived in Care-A-Lot, and their cousins lived in the Forest of Feelings. They all have tummy badges that are representative of who they are individually. When they do the "Care Bear Stare," light comes out of the badges that help in fighting off evil.

The Cousins, however, also had the Cousin Call. Braveheart Lion would yell Cousins Call, and all the Cousins would make their noises. Braveheart would roar, Lotsa Heart would trumpet, Gentle Heart would bleat, etc.
