Qaanaaq is a small town located in the northwest corner of Greenland, which is owned by the Kingdom of Denmark. Qaanaaq has a population of just over 600 people. The region was originally known as Thule, named after an indigenous tribe of Inuit that once lived in the area.

The current town of Qaanaaq was established in 1953 and its name means "hollowed out by wind or ice erosion" in the local Inuktun language.

Quimper is a city located in northwestern France and is part of the region of Brittany. The name of the city is derived from the word "kemper" from the old Breton language, which means confluent or coming together. The city has a population of over 60,000 people. One of Quimper's most notable residents was Rene Laennec (1781-1826), a French physician who became famous for inventing the stethoscope.

Al Udeid Air Base is located just outside of Doha, capital city of Qatar. It is a military base that is currently utilized by both the Qatar Emiri Air Force and the United States Air Force. The United Kingdom's Royal Air Force as well as the Royal Australian Air Force have also operated out of Al Udeid.

The base was constructed in 1996 and was heavily relied on during anti-terrorism military campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Quincy, Massachusetts was originally part of the town of Braintree. It became a town of its own in 1792. It was named after a Revolutionary War Colonel named John Quincy (1689-1787). The city of Quincy is known for being the home of the Adams family (no not that one). Former Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams were both born in Quincy and both currently rest side by side within a crypt underneath a church in the city.

The name Quebec was derived from a word from the Algonquin language that meant "narrow passage" or "strait". French explorer Samuel de Champlain chose the name for the city of Quebec, which would be established as the capital of New France in 1608. The name was chosen due to the narrowing of the St. Lawrence River as it passes through the city.

When New France was taken over by the British in 1763, the entire colony was renamed Quebec.

The State of Quintana Roo is located at the far eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The Mexican state is home to the popular resort cities of Cancun and Cozumel, as well as the ancient Mayan city of Tulum. The population of Quintana Roo is about 1.8 million people.

The state was named after Mexican politician Andres Quintana Roo (1787-1851), who was a prominent figure during Mexico's fight for independence from Spain.

Quezon City is the largest city in the Philippines with a population of nearly 3 million people. It is located on Luzon, the largest island of the Philippines. Quezon City was once the capital of the Philippines, but this was changed to the city of Manila in 1976, which sits adjacent to Quezon City.

The city was named after Manuel L. Quezon (1878-1944), who served as President of the American owned Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935-1944.

Answer: Quito's elevation is greater than 9,000 ft

Quito, capital city of Ecuador, sits within the Andes mountains at an elevation of 9,350 ft (2,850 m). It is the second highest capital city in the world behind La Paz, Bolivia. Despite being located almost directly on top of the equator, Quito's elevation does not allow temperatures to get too high there. By contrast, Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city, which sits at sea level, is normally about twenty degrees warmer in the Fahrenheit scale than Quito.

The city of Qingdao (aka Tsingtao) is part of the province of Shandong, which is located in northeastern China along the Yellow Sea. Qingdao is the home of the Tsingtao Brewery Company, which was established in 1903 by German settlers who lived in the area when it was a colony of the German Empire.

It has since become the most popular beer brand in China. Ever since 1991, Qingdao has hosted an annual beer festival in the summer similar to Germany's Oktoberfest.

Answer: Townsville

Townsville was the city used in the Cartoon Network animated series "The Powerpuff Girls", which ran from 1998-2005. There is a real city by the name of Townsville located in the Australian state of Queensland. It was first established in 1895 and has a population of over 150,000 people.

The creators of "The Powerpuff Girls" most likely chose the name Townsville as a generic city name, rather than a homage to the Australian city.
