Answer: Wayne Knight

Knight, born on August 7, 1955 in Cartersville, Georgia, was cast to voice Tantor. Tantor was a friendly elephant and he befriended Tarzan when the latter was a young boy. Tantor also had a fear for many things, including germs and frightening noises. Unlike most elephants in the film, Tantor had a reddish skin complexion. Near the end of the film, Tantor and Terk looked on as it appeared as if Tarzan was bound for England via ship in order to be with people. Knight starred in the films "Basic Instinct", "Jurassic Park" and "Space Jam".

O'Donnell, a native of Commack, Long Island, New York, landed the role of voicing Terk. Terk was a feisty gorilla who often delivered wisecracks. Much like Tantor, Terk also befriended Tarzan when he was a young boy. In one scene, she watched as Tarzan grabbed an elephant's hair. Near the end of the film, Terk was upset when it looked like Tarzan was bound for England via a ship.

In her mind, Tarzan eagerly ditched his friends in the jungle to go be among people. It was revealed in the film that Terk was Kala and Kerchak's niece. O'Donnell was cast as characters in the movies "A League Of Their Own", "The Flintstones" and "Harriet the Spy".

In 1983, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "The World According to Garp" but lost to Jessica Lange for "Tootsie".

In 1995, Hawthorne obtained an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the movie "The Madness of King George", but lost to Tom Hanks for "Forrest Gump".

Henriksen, a native of New York City, lent his voice to the role of Kerchak. Kerchak was a grown gorilla who resented Tarzan since Tarzan thought he was a gorilla but was human.
