Answer: Bart Scott

Scott is considered one of the top five free agent linebackers and was one a few moves the Jets did to improve thier defense for next season. Ryan is a very defensive focused coach and should implement a pretty good system to help turn the Jets into a top ranked defense.

The Giants used the franchise tag on Jacobs. The Panthers used the franchise tag on Peppers, which he had made clear that he wished they not do so that he could have the opportunity to get out of Carolina. Kurt Warner did not get franchised by the Cardinals, giving him the chance to sign with any team he wanted to, but eventually re-signed with Arizona.
