Dawns father had severe depression and attempted suicide a few times throughout his life. It was hidden successfully from Dawn until she was nineteen, but then he succeeded in his last suicide attempt. He had left the RAF by this point.

French and Saunders were a fabulous comedy duo. They made "French and Saunders" the TV series (1987 & 2005), which was a sketch show. French and Saunders also took the show on tour as a live stage show. Jennifer was famous for her role in the wonderful British comedy "Absolutely Fabulous" (1992-2004).
