Explanation of answers Extra Info and Blurbs From the Creation Guidelines link on the main Quizzyland page:- 'Quizzes that have explanations or interesting educational blurbs in the 'interesting info' field for each question are preferred. This makes sense -- if you get a question wrong it's nice to know what the correct answer is, and why. So spend a few extra minutes writing up some interesting info for your quizzes.' In other words, be creative! Don't spoil your quiz with very little data in the field 'Interesting Information' as it leaves your quiz 'bland', and resembling a rifle range -- question-answer-question-answer, and not much more. There are many games online which are good examples of well written and well thought out quizzes, with interesting blurbs for every question. Accordingly, a quiz which has very little data in this field for every question will probably be returned to its creator. Quizzes with inadequate blurbs for any question are no longer accepted. When referring to movies, give the year of release (ditto for tv shows, as per imdb.com), preferably with a short plot outline; and for songs/albums, give year of release and, if at all possible, how far it went up the charts. Finally, do not simply repeat the answer in your blurb. 18-Oct-01
