Evan's mum gets called into school because Evan drew a picture of people dying, and he couldn't remember doing it. This is the first time Evan has a blackout. You actually SEE Evan drawing this picture later on in the film, just before he impales his hands to prove to Carlos that he can perform miracles.

Lenny gets institutionalised for killing Tommy when he stabs Tommy with the piece of metal at the scrapyard. This happens when Evan goes back in time to the scrapyard stop Tommy from killing his dog. Evan gets institutionalised when he goes back in time to Kayleigh's basement once more, and tries to destroy the Blockbuster to stop them blowing up the woman and her baby. There is a struggle in the basement between Evan and Kayleigh's father, resulting in the Blockbuster flying towards Kayleigh, who thinks it's a sparkler.

The home movie is from when Evan and Kayleigh first met. Evan tells Kayleigh that he hates her and if she ever comes near him again, he will kill her and her whole family. In a previous reality (paraplegia), Kayleigh told Evan that he was the first person she had ever cared about. When her parents divorced, she chose to live with her father, even though she hated him, because if she didn't, she would never see Evan again. Evan arranged it so that Kayleigh no longer cared about him. When Evan comes to, his nose is not bleeding like it did after all his other exploits in the past when he suffered hemorrhaging and created new memories. In a memory sequence, like the other realities, we the audience see that Kayleigh and Tommy went to live with their mother and Tommy made a speech at his high school graduation, possibly as the valedictorian.

To get back at Evan for kissing his sister, Tommy ties Crocket up in a sack and sets him on fire.

This is said during the scenario when Kayleigh is a hooker. This is probably the best line said in the trailer, but in the movie it seemed more average. I still love the line anyway. I'm pretty certain that she didn't actually believe him, but maybe she did.

Thumper seems to be happy for Evan and they go out. Evan brings a girl back to his room and she finds his journals. This is when Evan discovers that he can go back to his blacked out past.

The Director's Cut has a totally different ending to the cinema version. As Evan was stillborn, Kayleigh and Tommy go to live with their mum, and they are happy. When Evan is alive, the only reason Kayleigh lives with her father is so she can be close to Evan. This is what causes all the pain in her life. She never gets molested by her father, nor does her father beat her brother.

Then it turns out he never wrote the diaries, so then he had to watch home movies to go back in time. He goes back to his meeting with Kayleigh and threatens to kill her and her family if she ever comes near him again. That changes everything for the better, Kayleigh and Tommy graduate and lead successful lives, while Lenny and Evan go about their own lives together. The final scene in the movie showed Evan and Kayleigh running into each other in the street, and Kayleigh obviously had some deja-vu because she stopped and looked at him before continuing on with her day.
