Gwildor was visited by Evil-Lyn at an undetermined point before the film began, learned of the cosmic key and stole it. She gave it to Skeletor who was able to storm into Castle Greyskull and capture it. Unfortunately for Skeletor, this was one of two keys made by Gwildor.
