If your quiz requires any knowledge beyond the theatrical release of the film you're writing about, you need to indicate that in the intro. This includes DVD extras, interview transcripts, and script information.
The Movies category will accept quizzes containing questions about other media (music, television, literature, etc), in instances where the editors determine the mixture to be justifiable. Keep in mind, however, that it can be to your advantage to create 'pure' quizzes, solely about movies. - People playing quizzes in the Movies category want to answer questions about movies. Asking about literature or video games will likely lower people's scores and your quiz will suffer in the player ranking system.
If you are asked to split a quiz between two categories, just remember that now you will have two quizzes under your belt instead of just the one!
The Movies category will not accept any quizzes on Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings that require book knowledge (even for just one question). Any quizzes on those films that are not entirely based on the films should be submitted to For Children (for Harry Potter) or Literature (for Lord of the Rings).
