Spelling/Grammar
|
We expect all quizzes submitted to have been proof-read for grammar and spelling. If there are obvious mistakes of this sort upon submission, the editors will bounce the quiz back to you. Additionally, we very strongly urge you to run your quiz through a spell-checking program. The best way to do this is to create your quiz offline in a word processing program like MS Word that can do a spell- and grammar-check for you. If you must create the quiz online in the template, you should use an online spell-check program. Many of the editors find iespell to be an invaluable tool. You can download it to your computer from various sites on the internet and it will run a spell check on everything in the browser window. As far as grammar is concerned, the quiz will get bounced back if we see an excess (more than one or two) of the following sorts of errors: - no ending punctuation - improper capitalization - improper spacing Jul-29-05 |
