Cafe LeBlanc is the main base of operations for Joker and the Phantom Thieves throughout most of the game. It is owned by Sojiro "Boss" Sakura. It doesn't get a particularly large customer base, but it at least does well enough where Sojiro can pay the bills for his house just a short walk away.

Because of this, taking Panther (Ann Takamaki) and Mona (Morgan's) is recommended. It would also be a good idea to outfit Joker with Fire or Wind as well. Alice is immune to Psychokinetic and frequently dishes out her own strong Psychokinetic attacks as well, so taking Haru or Makoto into the fight is a bad idea.

Ann specializes with Fire skills. Her ability to tear apart anything non-Fire resistant is absurd, and she should be a staple on most teams. She is a bit fragile, though.

9. Mariko Hyodo's gluttony knows no bounds, as her Snow Empress forme is quite formidable when confronted in battle. What is she weak to?

Haru is a good choice for this battle, as she can readily exploit the Snow Empress' Psychokinetic weakness. For the Curse weakness, Joker will have to take up the mantle of exploiting that. It should be quite obvious that a Jail full of harshly cold conditions would yield a boss based around Ice powers. While that doesn't give her a weakness to Fire for some reason, it predictably means she will be healed if targeted by an Ice power, so Yusuke makes for a particularly poor partner for that reason.

10. What would be a place you may end up going to with a confidant to catch a good showing?

At various points of the game, there are opportunities to catch a movie with any of the Confidants who are a part of the Phantom Thieves. Doing so will gain some points towards ranking up their Confidant Rank, and will also boost a skill of Joker's in the process.

11. Listen up, inmate! Some confidants can learn a useful ability which heals status ailments, most of them being granted it at rank 6. Which ability am I referring to?

But of course. If you are foolish enough to fall ill in battle, Harisen Recovery gives the user a chance to heal status ailments. This can be learnt at rank 6 by Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Haru and Akechi. Morgana receives the ability a little later at rank 7. Pay attention please. Endure is a skill that can be learnt by all the above characters, except Akechi, at rank 8 and has a chance to prevent death with 1hp remaining. Active Support is one of Futaba's abilities that restores SP. Arcana Burst is an ability granted by our master, Igor, which increases your maximum persona stock. All very useful.

12. A doppelgänger clone of Joker is next on the docket within the Kyoto Jail. What is the fake Joker weak to?

The fake Joker has no weaknesses, resistances or immunities to speak of, so he can be freely targeted by anything. That, of course, does mean he can't be exploited anywhere near as hard as the previous bosses were, though.

13. A teacher at Shujin Academy, this Temperance Confidant also works in secret as a maid! Getting on her good side will be integral for making the most use out of class time. Who is this?

Ranking up Kawakami is very pricey at first, requiring 5,000 yen for every visit she makes to Cafe LeBlanc to rank up. Fortunately, the price paid for services rendered is undoubtedly a good one. Once ranked up to Rank 10, Kawakami can massage the protagonist after a trip to Mementos or a Palace, enabling Joker to go do something else productive when he would otherwise have been forced to end the day. Kawakami can also craft infiltration tools or brew coffee while Joker can go do something else.

The deep, detailed temple is meant to represent how hopelessly trapped Futaba feels, as a result of her guilt over her mother's death. Many of the shadows are outfitted to represent appropriately themed enemies, such as a mummy or a black cat.

Yusuke is certainly an odd character. In battle, he specializes in Ice spells, but like Ryuji, his strength is much higher than magic, enabling him to put his Katana to good use. He can also be helpful out of combat, turning Blank Skill Cards into an assortment of skills Joker can attach to Personas, the likes of which get stronger as his Confidant rank rises.

Iwai is an important figure. Here, you can buy weapons and sell various trinkets picked up at Palaces or Mementos, outdated weapons of your own, and really, just about anything. As Iwai's rank rises, he will offer modifications on weapons which will make them stronger in battle. Of course, these modifications rise in quality alongside his rank.

The Casino is meant to represent Sae Nijiima's unwavering will to "win" prosecution cases, as she rigs every single game in the Casino, preventing anyone from ever winning them the fair way while she stays at the top, unopposed and unchallenged. As we learn from Goro Akechi, the Japanese prosecution has a 99% conviction rate in the game, which is reflected by the Casino making winning fairly totally impossible.

20. That Takamaki girl has a sweet tooth. And that idiot Ryuji Sakamoto loves gorging on Ramen. But which confidant is a keen grower of fresh veg?

Makoto takes over as the team's tactician upon joining the Phantom Thieves. She specializes in Nuclear attacks, and is formidable both as a magic or physical attacker. Makoto also is incredibly tanky, with high defenses, high HP, an ability which automatically raises her defense by +1 for three turns at the start of battle, and a nice arsenal of healing moves.

In linking up some of Shido's speeches as he campaigns for Prime Minister of Japan, selective terms such as "I will steer this country in the right direction" caused the Phantom Thieves to eventually discover his Palace was a Cruise ship. Given the fact that the Cruise ship surrounds annihilated infrastructure and a total flood, it seems Shido's Cruise ship represents his distorted desires as taking over and profiting at the expense of others, should he be elected Prime Minister.

Wolf's Persona, Valjean, gives him access to a number of very helpful buff and debuff tools. For offensive options, Wolf can provide the use of Almighty, Gun and Physical attacks which are all quite strong. He may not have any resistances, but he is also not weak to anything. Combined with his large base HP, and he is built to last for awhile.

25. The older sister of the Priestess Confidant, the Judgment Confidant ranks up passively throughout the game, and one of the Palaces you end up infiltrating throughout the game is actually her own. Who is this?

Sae Niijima is the only Confidant that doesn't actually convey any benefit for ranking up, apart from stronger Persona fusions with Judgment Personas like everyone else. Her Palace, the Casino, is the only one in which you don't actually end up stealing her heart, though ironically, she does end up having a "change of heart" later in the game anyway.

28. The last time the Phantom Thieves send a Calling Card is important, as it sets the stage for the final battle. Who do they address it to?

With the desires of the masses being stolen, the Phantom Thieves find they are unable to retake them from the Demiurge immediately. This is because the physical formes of these masses haven't materialized in the Metaverse. Sending a Calling Card to the Demiurge would prove ineffective, as the Demiurge's AI is advanced enough to have foreseen it, thus minimizing the impact a Calling Card would typically have. Thus, to make the general public aware of their stolen masses, the Phantom Thieves decide to hack EMMA and broadcast their Calling Card to the public that way.

29. The Devil Confidant is initially sought out for information on Junya Kaneshiro, and is later frequently found enjoying a drink at the Crossroads. Who is this?

They will hang out for awhile while Ryuji vents to Joker and Sojiro.
