Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. BotGenietle

Answer: Genie in a Bottle

"Genie in a Bottle" was first performed by Christina Aguilera when she was a teenager. The song was written by David Frank, Steve Kipner, and Pam Sheyne. The song was put on Christina's self-titled debut album which came out in 1999.

"Genie in the Bottle" is from the original quiz. The word 'genie' was put inside the word 'bottle' to make the answer to number one.
2. Rain Me

Answer: Rain on Me

Lady Gaga wrote "Rain on Me" with Ariana Grande for Lady Gaga's sixth album. Co-writers for the song were BoyzNoise, Tchami, Nija Charles, Rami Yacoub, BloodPop and Matthew Burns. Lady Gaga wanted the song to be about resilience in the face of life's hardships. The song hit #1 for Lady Gaga and won Best Duo at the 2021 Grammy awards.

The word 'rain' is on top of the word 'me' to make the answer Lady Gaga's song "Rain on Me".
3. Kacey Musgraves won several awards for this song. ROYGBIV

Answer: Rainbow

"Rainbow" was written by Kacey Musgraves, Shane McAnally, and Natalie Hemby six years before Kacey put it on her 2018 album "Golden Hour". The song won a CMA award and a Grammy. Kacey wrote the song about helping people find happiness through the sadness.

ROYGBIV are the colors found in a rainbow.
4. . . . .S . . . . . .K . . . . . . .Y To what movies series does this award winning theme song belong?

Answer: James Bond

"Skyfall" was written and performed by Adele for the twenty-third James Bond movie titled "Skyfall". Adele's co-writer for the song was Paul Epworth. The song was recorded at Abbey Road. A seventy-seven piece orchestra accompanied Adele for the song. "Skyfall" was the first James Bond song to win an Oscar. In fact, "Skyfall" won every award it was nominated for from 2012-2014, except the Satellite Award.

The letters of the word SKY are falling down the page.
5. To learn the title of this Taylor Swift song, write out the number that the Roman numerals represent. XXII

Answer: 22

Taylor Swift wrote "22" for her 2012 album, "Red". The song was released as a single in March 2013. Taylor wrote the song with Max Martin and Shellback. Taylor wrote the song about turning twenty-two while looking back on the good and the bad of her twenty-two years. Taylor Swift and her song "22" were used in an add for Diet Coke.

The Roman numeral for '10' is X and the Roman numeral for '1' is I so XXII would be the title of Taylor Swift's 2013 song, "22".
6. What did country singer Jamie O'Neal say about a missing state in America? Alaska, Alabama, _______ Arkansas

Answer: There Is No Arizona

"There is No Arizona" was written by Shaye Smith, Lisa Drew and Jamie O'Neal. Jamie came up with the song title from a line in the movie, "Dolores Claiborne", based on the Stephen King novel. Before breaking out on her own, Jamie wrote songs that were performed by Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, and LeeAnn Rimes. "There Is No Arizona" came from Jamie's first album, "Shiver" released in 2000.

Question #6 is from the original quiz. The three states in the question are all the states in the U.S. that begin with a letter 'A'. The only 'A' state missing is the title of the song "There is no Arizona".
7. T42

Answer: Tea for two

"Tea for Two" was a song written for the 1924 Broadway play "No, No, Nanette". The song was written by Irving Caesar and Vincent Youmans. The melody of "Tea For Two" was written by Youmans while he was serving in World War I. When Youmans returned to the United States, he went to see Irving Caesar in Chicago and had him write the lyrics to the song.

A movie was made from "No, No, Nanette" in 1950 titled "Tea for Two". The movie starred Doris Day as Nanette Carter. Nanette must say no to any question she's asked for twenty-four hours in order to win money from her uncle. When Nanette wins, her uncle must admit that he lost his money in the stock market. Doris Day sings "Tea for Two" with Gordon MacRae in the movie.

The answer came from the letter 'T' and the numerals '4' and '2' sounding out "Tea for Two".
8. After figuring out what the title of the song is, can you choose the song's performer? COHOTLD

Answer: Katy Perry

"Hot N Cold" was written by Katy Perry, Dr. Luke, and Max Martin for Katy's 2008 album "One of the Boys". The song tells the story of an ex-boyfriend who was having doubts about his relationship with Katy.

For the answer to question #8, the word 'Hot' was put in between the word 'Cold' to make the Katy Perry song, "Hot N Cold'.
9. 5,280,000 feet

Answer: A Thousand Miles

In 1998, Vanessa Carlton wrote "A Thousand Miles". Her inspiration for the song was a crush she had on a Julliard student while she was studying at the School of American Ballet. Vanessa put the song on her 2002 album "Be Not Nobody".

To come up with the answer, one must know that 1 mile equals 5,280 feet so multiply 1,000 miles times 5,280 feet to equal 5,280,000 feet.
10. What Faith Hill song does this wordwise represent? Smooch **Smooch** Smooch

Answer: This Kiss

"This Kiss" was written by Beth Nielsen Chapman, Robin Lerner and Annie Roboff. The song wasn't meant for country music, but when Faith Hill was looking for songs to put on her new album, Beth, Robin, and Annie rewrote the song and music to make it more country. "This Kiss" was on Faith Hill's self-titled 1998 album.

A smooch is another name for a kiss and there are three smooches in the question. One smooch is singled out making it "This Kiss" and not the other kisses.
