Answer: Chico, Harpo, Groucho, Gummo, Zeppo

Chico (Leonard) Marx was the oldest, born on March 22, 1887. Harpo (Adolph) Marx was next, born on November 23, 1888. Then came Groucho (Julius) Marx. He was born on October 2, 1890. Gummo (Milton) was the brother that appeared on stage but joined the army before the films were made.

He was born in 1897 Zeppo (Herbert) joined the act around the time that Gummo left. His birthday is February 25, 1901.
2. Which of the brothers used a false Italian accent on stage and in every movie he appeared in?

Answer: Chico

It has been said about Chico that even as a child he was able to imitate accents flawlessly. He eventually used that talent as a part of the Brothers' act.

The Marx Brothers were funny by nature, and though they didn't write the scripts, they may as well have. They did so much improvisation, even live on Broadway, that you could never see the same show twice. Something was always different. Once, during a stage performance of "The Cocoanuts", the brothers are rumored to have surprised a writer by using one of the lines he wrote!

Because Chico and Groucho were masters of improv, Harpo found it difficult to keep up with them, so he just stopped speaking onstage altogether.

When Harpo was a child, he had a talent for imitating facial expressions. Once, he saw a man in a cigar store window. The man's name was Gookie and he had a hilarious look on his face.
