Ronald (Ronnie) Walken was born on March 31, 1943, in Astoria, New York. He was named after British actor Ronald Colman. His name changed when a singer he was working with named him Christopher for reasons unknown and he has went by that name since.
2. What are the names of his parents?

Answer: Paul and Rosalie

His parents were immigrants and met here in the US. His mother, Rosalie, came from Scotland and his father, Paul, hailed from Germany and was the owner and operator of Walken's Bakery in Queens, NY. Sadly, Paul passed away in February of 2001.
3. What was the name of the lion he tamed while he was in the circus?

Answer: Sheba

Christopher joined a one-ring traveling circus, where he worked as an assistant lion tamer. He has been quoted as saying there wasn't much to it. Sheba, the lioness, was very old and had no teeth. "She was more like a dog than a lion," he said.
4. What year marked his first year as the host of "Saturday Night Live"?

Answer: 1990

Although Chris has hosted "Saturday Night Live" in all of these years, his first appearance was in 1990. This episode aired in the US on January 20, 1990. The musical guest was Bonnie Raitt. It was also the first appearance of "The Continental". This sketch has been performed in every episode that Christopher has hosted.
5. In which year did he marry Georgianne?

Answer: 1969

They met while touring with "West Side Story". She is a casting director and has been involved with casting such films as "Just Married", "The Banger Sisters" and "The Mothman Prophecies".
