Colu is home to a race of very intelligent beings. Brainiac 5 is a particularly intelligent member of this race, and he arrives to find that the intelligence of the inhabitants has been taken away.

2. There is a split in the Legion's ranks. Whom do the rebels choose to follow?

Answer: Brainiac 5

Cosmic Boy orders a raid on Brainiac 5's laboratory because he won't willingly share his research with the rest of the Legion. This upsets Brainiac and serves as a breaking point for the tension between the two of them.
