WWE "Raw" July 1, 2002 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar

As "Raw" began, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar walked to the ring. Heyman said that everyone anticipated that this summer would be the summer of RVD, but Heyman said everyone was sadly mistaken. He said that this summer will be the summer of Brock Lesnar.

Heyman said that besides Brock having ruthless aggression, he can outwrestle anyone. Then Heyman said that if there were any veterans in the back who thought they could defeat Brock Lesnar, then they should come on out.

Answer: Ric Flair

After Heyman threw out the challenge to anyone in the back, Ric Flair came waltzing to the ring in answer to the challenge. Flair said that he is the dirtiest player in the game, and that very soon Lesnar will find out the reasons why. Flair said he didn't forget that Lesnar was the one who cost him the match against McMahon.

Then Brock walked up to Flair and said, "You're in the wrong place in the wrong year with the wrong guy". After that, the match began. Flair was obviously no match for the strong Lesnar.

At one point in the match, Flair was actually begging for mercy, but Brock showed no mercy when he lifted Flair high in the air and gave him the "F5" for the win.

Answer: Jackie Gayda

Coach asked Jackie Gayda how she felt about losing the "Diva's Undressed Thong-a-thon" contest. Jackie said that she didn't lose, she just didn't win. Jackie also said that it wasn't her fault that she was pinned in her Tag Team Match, it was her partner's fault. Just then Molly Holly came in and said that Jackie wouldn't have been pinned if she spent less time walking around in her underwear.

Then Molly slapped Jackie. The two continued to fight, all the way to the ring. Where an impromptu match was started.

Unfortunately, Molly won the match.

Answer: Trish Stratus

After the match, as Molly was starting to leave, Trish came running to the ring and, much to Molly's surprise, pulled down Molly's pants, which revealed that Molly was wearing granny panties.

Answer: Chris Nowinski

Bradshaw faced off against Chris Nowinski. This match was not for the WWE Hardcore Championship. As the match began, Bradshaw unloaded the weapons he would use in the match, but before Bradshaw could begin, Nowinski grabbed a cowbell and hit Bradshaw in the head, knocking him out. Nowinski then pinned Bradshaw for the win.

Answer: RVD

As William Regal was watching "Raw", RVD barged in looking for Brock Lesnar. Regal told RVD that Lesnar wasn't there, and he also told RVD that Lesnar just had a match. Then Regal berated RVD for being late, saying that if RVD was on time he would have known that Lesnar had already wrestled. RVD said that he was looking to kick someone's posterier, and Regal said that if RVD wanted to fight then he would fill in for Lesnar. Regal told RVD to prepare to be defeated.

Answer: Darth Vader

Goldust was dressed like Darth Vader when Booker T saw him. Goldust told Booker that he was not a Jedi Knight, yet. Booker said he never saw the "Star Wars" trilogy. Then Booker spied Goldust's light saber, and began waving it around, saying he was "Bookie Wan Kenobi."

Answer: William Regal

William Regal faced off against Rob Van Dam in a Non Title Match. Unfortunately, Regal lost after he received a "Five Star Frog Splash" by RVD and was pinned.

Answer: Brock Lesnar

For the first time since coming to the WWE/WWF, Rob Van Dam actually used a microphone when he had a problem with someone. RVD called out Brock Lesnar, and much to his surprise, Lesnar and Heyman walked to the top of the ramp. RVD challenged Lesnar to a match that night, but Heyman said that he would do a favor for RVD, he said that he wouldn't let Lesnar come to the ring and crucify RVD.

But Heyman had a better idea, he said that since RVD wants Lesnar that the two of them should have a match at "Vengeance". RVD agreed, saying "Dude, of course I agree, I'm Rob Van Dam" (Thumbs pointing to head).

Answer: Spike Dudley and Bubba Ray Dudley

Spike and Bubba Ray Dudley faced off against Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. This was Benoit's first match in over a year. Bubba and Spike won when Bubba gave Guerrero the "Bubba Bomb" and pinned him for the win. After the match, Benoit threw Spike into a table that was set up on the outside of the ring.

Then Benoit latched on a "Crippler Crossface" then Guerrero gave Bubba a "Frog Splash".

Answer: Kevin Nash

Goldust walked up to The Big Show in his Darth Vader costume and told Show that he was his daddy. After saying that, Goldust whacked Show in the head with the light saber. Then, as Goldust turned around to leave, he was attacked by Kevin Nash.

Answer: Terri

Terri asked Taker if he was nervous about his upcoming Ladder Match against Jeff Hardy. Taker didn't respond, all he did was just look at her and say, "This interview is over".

Answer: Triple H

After Big Show was defeated in his match against Booker T; Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash walked to the ring. When they got there Nash started hitting Show, with Show fighting back. Michaels broke it up saying that they didn't want to destroy each other, they wanted to destroy Booker T. Michaels said that next week their sole mission would be taking Booker T out of the game.

Then Michaels had another announcement. He said that there would soon be a new member to the nWo family. He said that anyone who watched "King Of The Ring" knew who he was talking about.

He said that in the very near future there would be a new member standing alongside Nash, Show, X-Pac, and himself. He said the new member is none other than Triple H. After this announcement, he told Nash and Show to make up.

The two shook hands and then Michaels delivered the "Sweet Chin Music" to Show, knocking him flat. Then Nash and Michaels left the ring and then while on the ramp looked back at Show and told him to come with them, saying they had to do it, calling it "tough love".

Answer: Ladder Match

The match which pitted The Undertaker against Jeff Hardy was a Ladder Match. Jeff asked for this kind of match last week on "Raw", because he thought he would definitely win because The Undertaker never had a Ladder Match.

Answer: Jeff Hardy

The Undertaker successfully defended the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match. In the beginning of the match, Taker had debunked Jeff and was climbing the ladder to retrieve the title, but changed his mind, instead wanting to punish Jeff. Taker basically destroyed Jeff, although Jeff did fight back.

As the two were on the ladder, Taker chokeslammed Jeff from the top rung, then reached up and collected the title. After the match, Taker gave Jeff the "Last Ride" for good measure before walking up the ramp.

Then, much to Taker's surprise, Jeff grabbed a microphone and told Taker that he hadn't been destroyed because he was still standing. Taker walked back to the ring and was ready to pound Jeff some more, but had a change of heart.

Instead, Taker patted Jeff on the head and then raised his hand in victory.
