Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the first name of the creator of this series?

Answer: Martin

Martin Billany is the creator of YGOTAS; he also does every main character's voice. He participates in "Wa-Chow!", an internet podcast, which discusses various topics and shares its humor for everybody to enjoy. Not only did Martin create the Abridged series, he also created a number of spin-off videos viewable at his website included in the description, as well as on YouTube (channel CardGamesFTW).
2. Among all of the voices Mr. Billany does, Tristan could be thought of as the funniest. What popular children's icon does he sound most similar to?

Answer: Barney the Dinosaur

Tristan, one of the minor characters of the series, is decidedly stupid the way Martin casted him. In fact, in the second episode, Martin deliberately makes his character into Barney the Dinosaur, doing things such as relating himself to a large purple dinosaur and singing, "I love you, you love me."
3. What name do all of Marik's mind control victims need to have for his Millennium Rod to work?

Answer: Steve

Marik, the Abridged Series' second season villain, has a team of rare hunters all named Steve. His full name is Marik Sebastian Ishtar III. In one of the episodes, Marik legally changes Joey and Tea's names to Steve so he can control their minds. Marik makes references throughout the series to Joey's name being Steve, saying things like "Lay waste to the rest of Stevie's life points!" and such.
4. Does Mr. Billany have an episode in which he abridges his Abridged Series?

Answer: Yes

After defeating the Moonsteves (parodied from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force"), the Pharaoh and Kaiba get on a helicopter in order to save Yugi's friends. On the trip, they recount all of the previous events in the abridged series, putting the nutshell in a nutshell!
5. What word do many characters use to describe Pegasus as (including himself)?

Answer: Camp

Pegasus often describes himself as being "ambiguously camp." Camp, in context, is essentially a synonym for effeminate or even homosexual. In another episode, Pegasus is discovered to have had a wife, proving his heterosexuality. His right-hand man, Croquet, was actually who Bakura's gay-dar had picked up - astonishing, I know!
6. In one of Mr. Billany's spin-off episodes, "Marik's Evil Council of Doom," which character is decidedly an anti-hero and not a villain, thus not taking part in Marik's council?

Answer: Kaiba

Marik figured Kaiba would only slow him down with his money, connections, and resources. Marik also excluded Dartz's gang from Season 4 ("The season that nobody liked," quoth Marik) since he didn't want his evil convention to be interrupted by the nerd villains of the series.
7. Which popular idiotic comedic American icons make up the personalities of Rex and Weevil?

Answer: Beavis and Butthead

In the second episode, Rex and Weevil are shown for the first time - and wouldn't you know it, the first thing you hear is their annoying laugh, followed by their annoying voices. Their characters altogether show astonishing connections to "Beavis and Butthead," including their idiotic teenage behavior and direct quotes from "Beavis and Butthead" itself.
8. Is there an episode titled "Fanservice?"

Answer: Yes

In Episode 16, "Fanservice," the minor characters all band together to try and get an adventure of their own; laughably, of course. However, at the end, Bakura reveals that he does, in fact, have a main character hidden inside him, waiting about five hundred episodes to actually do something.
9. What "object," which is referenced throughout the series, must never be destroyed for the sake of the Abridged series?

Answer: The fourth wall

The fourth wall, Marik's object to collapse, cannot crumble for the sake of the Abridged Series. Fortunately, after Episode 46 (in which Marik's alter-ego destroys the fourth wall) they begin rebuilding it in Episode 47 - a long-awaited one indeed.
10. What is the name of Marik's evil alter-ego?

Answer: Melvin

Melvin, Marik's diabolical second personality formed by Disney movies, is far more evil than Marik could ever hope to be. In fact, he works for the most evil organization known to man, according to Martin; 4Kids Entertainment. Although he successfully made the fourth wall collapse in Episode 46, Martin retaliated by rebuilding it.
