Question 1 of 10
1. 7.30am: I get up, but I'm not ready to face school. I wish I liked school, but I really don't! I'm glad my sister Grace does, but she has friends to get her through the day and have their own secret games and nicknames. What do Grace's friends call her? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. First lesson - Maths: I detest Maths, and it's even worse first lesson! I hate it at school, though it's marginally better than my tuition. At least I can blend in and hide at the back. I'd rather talk to Jane and Tobias than work out algebra. What is the name of my Maths tutor, before I started at Wentworth? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Second lesson - English: My English teacher loves me and that's why I bother coming to school every day! Thank goodness for her determination on helping me achieve, and her hints on improving my essay! I'd be lost without her. (True or false?)

Question 4 of 10
4. Third lesson - Art: Thank goodness for Art! I love it, everything about it, from the first moment I stepped into Mr Raxberry's art room. I'm glad I wasn't put next to Rita, though, I'd soon learn to hate it. Who did Mr Raxberry sit me by? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Fourth lesson - French: I thought I was good at French, but apparently not! I mispronounce all the words. When I had my first lesson at Wentworth, I had to recite numbers. Which ones were they? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Lunch: Finally, it's lunch! I get to eat my sad little packed lunch. Though I'd rather have a packed lunch than a school dinner. At least I can eat my lunch in peace, away from the dinner hall with other kids. Mum didn't want me to have a school dinner either, especially not a free one. Who offended Mum by asking if we were on benefits? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Fifth lesson - PE: I'm meant to be good at sports, because I'm small, strong and whippy - very different to Grace - but I'd never played most of the games before and it was dreadful. In which sport did I mess up? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Home at 3.30pm: Thank goodness! I've survived another day! I don't want to bother with homework, so what do I do? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Visit to Dad: Oh, help, it's time to go to the hospital to visit Dad in the stroke unit. I feel so bad to have sent him there and even more guilty to not want to go visit him. I'm stuck - I can't sit in a corner like Grace and be ignored, so I have to talk to Dad and the nurse. Oh, no, I've forgotten her name! Can you help me remember? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. Babysitting: I love babysitting for Rax. It's the highlight of my week, even though I spend most of the time with Harry and Lily. I get to look at Rax's bedroom, through his books and clothes, and at his special sketch book. I can't wait for our special talks when he drives me home at the end of the evening. But I can't help feeling guilty when I think of his wife. What's her name? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 7.30am: I get up, but I'm not ready to face school. I wish I liked school, but I really don't! I'm glad my sister Grace does, but she has friends to get her through the day and have their own secret games and nicknames. What do Grace's friends call her?

Answer: Piggy

That name makes me shudder. It's hard to defend Grace's appearance when she gets herself landed with a nickname like Piggy and LIKES it! But however much I try to hide it, I'd like friends which care for me like Iggy and Figgy care for Grace. I like Jane and Tobias, but I want friends who are more than my imagination.

Answer: Miss Roberts

I rather hope you got this one right! Mrs King is my mother, Mrs Godfrey is my English teacher at Wentworth, and Mrs Raxberry is the wife of my art teacher, Rax. More about Rax later, when it's time for Art!
3. Second lesson - English: My English teacher loves me and that's why I bother coming to school every day! Thank goodness for her determination on helping me achieve, and her hints on improving my essay! I'd be lost without her. (True or false?)

Answer: False

This can't be further from the truth! I can't stand Mrs Godfrey, and clearly, she can't stand me! She is absolutely unbearable, and she's made me hate the subject I used to love, even with Dad's teachings. She embarrassed and mocked me when I read out my essay, even when it was cleverly written and I spoke with expression. Somehow I feel like when I'm in English, everything I do is wrong.
4. Third lesson - Art: Thank goodness for Art! I love it, everything about it, from the first moment I stepped into Mr Raxberry's art room. I'm glad I wasn't put next to Rita, though, I'd soon learn to hate it. Who did Mr Raxberry sit me by?

Answer: Sarah

I work very happily next to Sarah, because she doesn't tease or mock me like Rita or Daisy would - or chatter like Toby would. But I can't help thinking how much I'd love it if I got to spend the full Art hour next to Rax!
5. Fourth lesson - French: I thought I was good at French, but apparently not! I mispronounce all the words. When I had my first lesson at Wentworth, I had to recite numbers. Which ones were they?

Answer: 1-20

I was good at reading French - I used to guess my way through French children's books when I was homeschooled - but I'd never had to read aloud before. It was very embarrassing - I'd said "dix-huit" as "dicks-hewitt" - everyone was in tears of laughter.

Answer: Miss Wilmott

When we first meet Miss Wilmott, the headmistress of Wentworth, we think she's a secretary. She looks smart, with blonde hair, in a black trouser suit and high-heeled boots. She may act all knowledgeable, but she doesn't know the difference between a Botticelli and a Bellini painting, like I do! She offended Mum by saying "Are you on benefits, Mrs King?" and offering free school dinners, but Mum was insulted, because Dad ranted about people living off the state.
7. Fifth lesson - PE: I'm meant to be good at sports, because I'm small, strong and whippy - very different to Grace - but I'd never played most of the games before and it was dreadful. In which sport did I mess up?

Answer: Netball

I caught the ball, no bother, but I kept running with it - and all the goals I scored didn't count because I wasn't a shooter. I didn't even know what that meant! Things had gone wrong since I'd changed into the PE kit - all the girls had seen my new underwear and laughed and whispered. I didn't want to bother with PE after that.
8. Home at 3.30pm: Thank goodness! I've survived another day! I don't want to bother with homework, so what do I do?

Answer: Do something arty - like paint or draw

I love art, and I love to read. I can't do teenage stuff, read magazines and mess with make-up because we can't afford it! Dad wouldn't let me anyway. If we can't afford cheap things like that, then we definitely can't afford a TV or a computer, or pay for a cinema ticket, though I'd love to do all those things!

Answer: Nurse Ray

Oh yes! Nurse Ray is lovely and cheerful and helps Dad get better. When I make Dad some cards to help him learn everyday objects, he chucks them on the floor, but Nurse Ray collects them up. She asks if she can use them for her other stroke victims. I like this a lot, so I make her some old-lady stroke-victim cards, and she says I'm an "inventive little angel".

Answer: Marianne

She's nice to me, but I feel really bad because I love her husband. I love Rax so much, and when we kiss it's magical. I hope we'll stay together forever, somehow. I don't want our relationship to end...
