Muggs is the most gorgeous boy in school and Jess really loves him. He's tall with dark hair he wears in a ponytail for school. In the school play, Jess gets to play Lady Macbeth, and lovely David Morgan (aka Muggs) gets the part of Macbeth!

2. Miss Taylor is Jess's favourite teacher at the start of the book.

Jess always thought Miss Taylor was the best, but then she changed her mind at the end. Miss Taylor is Jess's English teacher, and in charge of her school play, "MacBeth".

Carly is older than Jess and is having a year travelling before starting uni. Jess misses Carly loads, but she sends her a lot of messages and e-mails.
