Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which game can Dorak be found in?

Answer: Dubloon Disaster

Dorak is the playable Krawk that you will control in the Krawk Island game "Dubloon Disaster". In this game, you need to control Dorak as he paddles around in a boat picking up treasure from a sunken ship. Along the way, you'll need to avoid mines which will home in on your ship.

As soon as you're hit, it's game over. There are many different dubloons in the game which you can collect for different amounts of points. Dorak is one of many famous Krawks in Neopia.
2. Where does Jhuidah live?

Answer: Mystery Island

Jhuidah is the Island Fairie who can usually be found stirring the bubbling Cooking Pot on Mystery Island's northern coast. If you bring specific items to the pot and mix them, they could result in something disastrous, or something extremely rare like gourmet foods or hybrid petpets. If you thought about Jhudora, that's a completely different fairy. Jhudora's an evil fairy found in Faerieland, and she'll allow you to complete quests for her.
3. What is the plural form of the Neopet known as Ruki?

Answer: Rukis

Rukis are Neopets most commonly found in the Lost Desert. You shouldn't have trouble creating one because it's not a restricted pet. Rukis come in many colours such as Rainbow, Starry, and Shadow. In a frenzy of newly-released pets, the Neopets Staff released Rukis and Yurbles at around the same time. Rukis are one of quite a few Neopets which resemble bugs.
4. In which region of Terror Mountain can the Snowager be found?

Answer: Ice Caves

The Snowager is a monster that can be found guarding his treasure pile in the Ice Caves of Terror Mountain. If you visit him during one of three hours of the day that he's asleep, you can head over to the pile and possibly pick out a rare prize. If you accidentally happen to wake the creature, he'll probably shoot you with a blast of ice and damage your Neopet. If this happens, you may also be able to activate him as a Battledome Opponent in the Ice Arena.
5. People who taste a Chokato often say that the item tastes like a mixture of chocolate and which other food?

Answer: Tomato

The chokato is one of the more well-known fruits of Neopia, much like the juppie, negg, or tigersquash. Chokatos are native to Mystery Island, and are often found at the Tropical Food Shop. In Neopia, if you happen to feed your Chia a Magical Chokato Chia Pop, they'll transform into a Chia shaped like a chokato. Chias are often able to transform into different fruits and vegetables such as asparagus, peas, grapes, and apples.
6. Where would you most likely be able to buy a Dinger (excluding user shops)?

Answer: Virtupets Space Station

Dinger is one of many robotic (and expensive) Petpets that can be bought in the Virtupets Space Station. Often, Virtupets petpets cost a lot of money, and can be found in user shops at a cheaper price. If you're not into spending as much money, there are many alternatives such as Angelpuss, Warf, Mallard, and Spyder, which cost significantly less in both Petpet and user shops.

Then again, you may want to opt for a rare robotic petpet in order to achieve a certain goal, such as an award from the PPPL (Petpet Protection League).
7. What is the name of Merouladen's brother?

Answer: Heermedjet

Merouladen and Heermedjet were involved with the King Coltzan plot which occured in the earlier years of Neopets. The two were responsible for stealing the late King Coltzan's crown from the Lost Desert and taking it to their boss, Malkus Vile. In order to finish the quest, players needed to find a trap door under Hubert's Hot Dog Stand in the Neopian Bazaar. Now, with the plot long finished, you can still get the Meerca duo as a Battledome opponent in the trap door, and you can fight them during the course of "Defenders of Neopia: Series 1".
8. Which game is run and organized by the Tiki Tack Shop owner?

Answer: Tombola

"Tombola" is one of the most popular 'freebie' games on the site, allowing players to win prizes and money once a day. To play, you pull one random ticket and you win if the number on it ends in a 2, 5, or 0. If you're lucky, you'll win codestones, faeries, and dubloons, but if you lose, you could win a booby prize, or possibly nothing at all. If you lose, he may end up feeling sorry for you as well and give you extra money anyway. Occasionally, the Tiki Tack Shop owner is away, and sometimes he asks for donations from other Neopians in order to maintain his shop.

The Tiki Tack Shop owner is one of only a few Neopian figures who isn't actually a Neopet.
9. During which month can you visit the Advent Calendar in Terror Mountain for a prize?

Answer: December

The Advent Calendar is only open during the Month of Giving (December), and much like a real advent calendar, you can go to it every day for a prize. Every year, prizes range from souvenirs, to extremely rare petpets (such as Snowickle, Snowbunny, and White Ona) and even paintbrushes (some of which included the Christmas Paintbrush and the Snow Petpet Paintbrush)! The Advent Calendar is also where you can find the Snowbeast Battledome opponent, required during a mission in "Defenders of Neopia: Series 1".

The Advent Calendar continues all month; December 1st to December 31st, and the items given are retired on January 1st the following year.
10. In which game are you likely to oppose Princess Fernypoo?

Answer: Cheat!

"Cheat!" is quite a popular game on the site since it's quite easy when you get the hang of it, and it results in easy trophies. To play, you need to place cards into a pile, and as you go around the group of four, you'll try and place down your whole hand. To place cards down, they need to be within one card of the previous set. Occasionally, you won't be able to place cards down, so you'll need to cheat. If you're caught, you pick up the pile, but if you aren't, that's good for you. If you catch someone cheating, you get some Neopoints, and they pick up the cards, but if you call them cheaters when they really aren't, then you'll pick up the pile. Trophies are given after the third, fifth, and seventh rounds, and avatar is given after the first, and every round results in a Battlecard and a Neopoints prize.
